That guy is MUCH happier than I would be in that situation.

#3 5 years ago

Cozy. One of my all time favorite was Mars Trek. Sonic had some very cool abstract art IMO.

#4 5 years ago

I like Abra CaDabra, I see it sneaking into the shot.

Super Cool artwork on North Star, but it reminds me of Idaho Winters too much so I will stick to warmer ether themes, like the Gulf of Mexico around Texas:

If there's one thing that puts me off any pinball, it's pointy elbowed artwork!!

This is my favourite EM backglass:

I like the way it's illuminated.

North Star? Hmmm..I'd have to agree. It would kinda match my avatar, and my love of snow and ice, and I live on North St... Why don't I have one?

#9 5 years ago

* yawn * Babe in a winter coat? I can think of many better backglasses.

#10 5 years ago

Most Gottlieb EM back glasses are great
Pointy people back glasses are cool
I also like the back glasses before they introduced score reels. Finding ways to combine the score and still have room for attractive art. Amazing

Why even try to pick the best?

#11 5 years ago

I love the pointy people!

Abra Ca Dabra is one of my favorites, can't wait for my Webb backglass repro to arrive. Gonna so nice looking.

Gigi is right up there for me. One day I will get another.

Super Chubbie - What were they thinking in 1941.

Williams River Boat. The score windows are the windows on the boat. This may be the only game that works the score windows into the art work.

#16 5 years ago

Now that is F'N cool!!!!!

Art is an individual perception of what is attractive to the viewer. This backglass is not necessarily my favorite but I believe accurately reflects the art deco period. It's an old,Bally 1939 "Collect On Delivery - COD"

There were some superb backglasses from the 50's but here is one from 1944!

Yes, I second North Star as one of the best. Also for me would be Slick Chick. I really want one of those...

#21 5 years ago

I agree with your choice - North Star is hard to beat.

Some honorable mentions:

Sing Along
Skyline
Jumping Jack

Comical art:

Knock Out
Square head

#22 5 years ago

This one is fun as well. 1958.

Flip Flop has always been one of my favorites finaly picked this title up after having it on my list for a while.flipflop.jpg

George Molentin doesn't get NEARLY enough credit compared to Roy Parker. George's chicks were hotter and he knew how to draw hands.

#25 5 years ago

Yep! I love Parker too, but would tend to agree. More Molentin...

Couple more.

Mystic Marvel 1954.
Daisy May 1954 - one of the hardest games to find.

Hey Mike, how's it going. You make it to Michigan this summer. Here's my vote Todd Scott image.jpg

+1 on George. This is becoming one of my favorite art packages. There are just so many different things going on. On the playfield as well.

Yeah, we were there the first week in August. I'm going to have to find the time to stop at your place one of these days.

Strange World of course!

I can not argue with that one.

#35 5 years ago

Yeah, Jumping Jack and Jack in the Box are about as classy/classic as it gets.

That Wonderland is amazing... is that one of the first 6 'fairytale' series pins which introduced flippers? That chick is hot!

Scratch that dumb question... just realised it's Williams... doh!

I wouldn't even sell it for that. Some things you CAN'T put a price on.

#41 5 years ago

I knew we'd get around to the booby glass sooner or later. How can you go wrong with that many boobs right?

Hot chicks and creepy clown. A perfect combo.

That Big Daddy is awesome! A definite keeper.

#46 5 years ago

All I need now is a Wonderland.

#47 5 years ago

Tough one to find. We should have kept that one hush, hush. Raising interest only makes the hunt harder.

#48 5 years ago

And a Heatwave.

Indeed! Add me to the list

Especially with a p/f like this

Never seen Wonderland in person - looks like an awesome game and I agree that it's one of the sexier backglasses ever.
