A grail is FINALLY in the house! Shook hands on it Dec. of '12. Paid it off in Dec. of '13. Got it through the door on Saturday morning with much thanks to Chris Meyers of Bradish Street Pinball Parlor in Pittsburgh, PA. If there is a machine that will NEVER leave the collection, this is it!!!10389343_668079383299133_261687432795632542_n.jpg10358576_668079403299131_526692184989873885_n.jpg10406892_668079469965791_4936710734572127050_n.jpg10710547_668079453299126_2429362453385486529_n.jpg

I just watched the PAPA video on this game. I like the precise shots and the timing of them.

Congrats! Nice to see a unique title as the grail machine.

Nice game. Congrats!

So, what made *this* title one of your grail pins? There must be a story there...

Congrats on the score! Always a great feeling but when it's a grail pin all the sweeter!

Quoted from RobertWinter:

There must be a story there...

This one time, on LSD, this snail told me the secrets of the universe

Uh, in all seriousness, part of the answer is what Noahs_Arcade said! Well, let's look at the facts that: I like the artwork, I love the out of the ordinary strategy you have to come up with to be a success on it,
it's a rare machine from '82-83 (608 of 'em, I believe), there aren't many around today and I think playing it is a ton of fun.

During my 24+ years on the radio as an on-air personality, I specialized in playing songs that us radio people refer to as "Oh! Wow!" songs...the ones no other stations hardly ever play but everyone that knows what they are LOVES hearing them. That describes my relationship to this machine. If all you know are DMD titles and can only excel on the latest Sterns well then this is not for you and you won't even care. But if you know older machines, their rarity and value, this is one that will make you say "Oh! Wow!"...

Congrats. I love this game as well. Probably my favorite from the era. Good rules, art and sounds...

Stoned snails. Fantastic mushrooms. What's not to like?

We played one of those in league recently. Quite an interestingly different game.
