    Re: foot pedals

We set up a game with foot pedals for a league tournament, you had to play the game from 3 feet away, couldn't nudge. It was a lot of fun, but it was pretty hard on your ankles. Also took some custom wiring on the game. Nothing major or a big deal, was easy to add and reverse, but it was a tiny bit of work, nothing you could just slap on instantly.

It did work really well though, everyone enjoyed it. Might be fun to set up one game with it that way, and then make *everyone* play it with the pedals for that night.

    Quoted from CaryCarmichael:

Only problem with wiring, as you noted Aurich, is that it can't be slapped onto Route Games on the spot - especially when we don't generally have the keys. I'd really like Todd to be able to play in our League, other Leagues or Tournaments, or on Route in general.

I wonder though if you could set up a foot pedal with a pole going up that would actuate a lever to press the button. Like a kick pedal on a drum sort of idea. Then you could place it next to the game. Just a thought, the bar idea above might be better.

You know who should be in this thread? Ben Heck. He modifies game controllers for people who have special needs, he might have some useful input.
