Xmas Story Clapper (resized).jpg

I currently have the Google Home setup in my household and have pins plugged into the Meross power strip / surge protector. Although I’ve never been sure about whether it was safe to leave all the pins “on” and use the Meross as the avenue to cut/grant power. How many leave their pins “on”
and manage power supply via a smart plug, strip, breaker, or other solution?

Previous forums I’ve found speaking to it:

Use Insteon.

I have 12 Insteon outlets and I control them with a keypad. I want all the machines on, I just hit 1 button and they all come on.

You can pretty much program it any way you want. I chose all games.

Best part with these outlets, when the outlets are off, the games aren’t drawing any power. Save on the electric bill.
