Born in 74, so not part of the initial premiere, but I did see it in the theater later (likely in 1980 around Empire being released). Back in those days I remember they'd often re-release movies, before home video existed.

The 2003 black out affected us all the way up here in Toronto. That was huge.
Power was back on by 5am, i remember my fan turning on while I slept. So it was 1 evening of no power and it was fun to hang out with the neighbors. If it went another day it would not have been so fun, but as it went it was a fun memory.
