Wave on your way through here, between Griffith and Battle Creek. See you at John's.

Met Jesse at Pincades. Super nice guy. Played a round of Woz. with the newest code update. That machine really is a couple steps ahead of what Stern is putting out for the same amount of $$$. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing Stern, I own one, but the craftsmanship is superior IMHO. Kudos JJP!

    #16 6 years ago

    Then there's "Bay Hoff".

    #17 6 years ago

Well.....at least now I know how many pins you have to own before you can keep a Rapid Fire or whatever that other one is called, without wanting to throw it out to make room for a real pin.

One guy. It is impressive. Jaw-dropping, even.

    #29 6 years ago

Now I'm pissed we didn't make the trip. That collection is amazing! We're not worthy.

were these pics from real early in the day? seems like a smallish crowd. I've seen pics of past parties that were jammed with people. just wondering.

Yes many were. We had 140 people come through, some stay all day and others for a few hours but its all up them and how long they can hold out flipping those flippers. LOL......

Man, when I see these pictures I imagine John's electric meter (kWh) spinning like in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation...

Definitely coming next year John. I couldn't work it out with my schedule this time unfortunately. =)

Yes, these pictures were taken at the begining of the party before a lot of people showed up. I wanted to showcase the pins more than the pinheads. It would be difficult to get good clean shots of the machines after the basement filled up so I took them early. Wasn't long afterwards and it was packed in there.

    #41 6 years ago

I see myself! (or most of me anyway)

    Quoted from BigB:

John's layout is great. It did not seem crowded even when there were lots of people. Just so may pins to play that lots of people can fit easily. I was shocked to see how many cars were parked outside without it seeming to be crowded. Then I started to think about how many people were actually there. Yeah, lots.

    Thanks John!

(Sorry for the one-angle of shots. I was kind of glued to Blackwater 100 for the night....running the Zen tourney).

I'll have to dig through Julie's camera to see if she got some better pics from elsewhere in the basement.
