On Route in Jacksonville FL: My first machine in a smokey bar Bullwinkle & Rocky

The game went to Burro Bar in downtown Jacksonville FL.
This location previously had sort of working Time Machine from some slack azz operator.
After a few months of them wanting one of my games, I picked B&R to go there.
I set it up the day before the monthly Art Walk in downtown (1st wed of every month).
This is probably the busiest bar during Art Walk, so I baby sat it some.
It seemed to do well and people seemed to like it.
It held up well and it will get the typical re-investment of capital that all of my games get.
I find that putting the first few months of money back into the games to make
the game look/play better pays off.

I have to tell ya HighProtein, I am very glad people like you (OPs) are still around but, I don't know how you do it! The pins I've owned over the years were near and dear to me (like my kids)and man, I think what if someone starts beating on it while playing......I'd go to jail . Sad to say mabe but I'd not do well in your position, especially in a bar setting. Good luck and thx for having the trust and patience needed to bring pins back into public settings!!!!

I only put bill acceptors on my Williams and Stern games.
I don't have any upstacker bill acceptors yet.

For me I find it as a win/win/win situation overall.
The profits go into the games so I have upgraded games,
I get to expand awareness of pinball/others enjoy my games
and the other profits help the local business pay a bill.

10 years? Even South Dakota and our inbred cousin, North Dakota, don't allow smoking and we are usually at least 10 years behind. You guys are pushing 20 years.

I think someone should make a custom Tim Tebow pinball machine. That thing would out earn any maching in Jacksonville.

There is such thing as states rights still to some extent.
We have the right to choose which municipality that we live in (freewill).
In Florida we voted for no smoking in restaurants, but drunkard venues like bars can smoke.

Get it away from that window unless you want Bullwinkle to have a yellow shirt.
