That thing is mint fresh compared to ours! Awesomely fun game with two players and fast.

Quoted from rufessor:Good to hear- I have been admiring from afar for so long I have to go look at it every so often.
It was WAY more fun than I thought it would be, ours came to us as part of a package deal and we had only minor interest in it. Once I got it running 100% it rapidly became our favorite for 2 player game. It is very fast when setup right and the left outlane is a brutal drain magnet for some reason. Best shot of the whole game is when you can loft a shot off a side bumper and catch the lit playfield puck position rollovers one after another. The buzzer when you score a goal is just a hoot!
The game is the most complex EM I have worked on bar none, there is a lot going on in the cabinet and backbox! Both have extra "hangers" for banks of relays. Well worth finessing everything to get it working right with the playfield puck indicator mech in the backglass being the worst offender.
Enjoy!
Quoted from rufessor:Everything shines up real well between ultrasonic and tumbler!
How large is your ultrasonic unit? I was thinking of ordering one this week in the 10L size as I will do car parts time to time.
I was looking at this one, it is actually in the cart already.

Quoted from rufessor:Looks near identical to what I have visually. Should be plenty big for pinball work.

Ordered! Thanks for the input. Will look nice next to the vibrating polisher and gunk tank. =)
Quoted from rufessor:I hope its big enough. Was just thinking if your asking in an EM thread and its for this era your good. If you have long ramps etc then you may not be able to reach the middle.
I mostly have EM =)

Heat Wave has since left but has been replaced by Spring Break, Hot Shots, Time Machine (x2) and Hearts and Spades! Olympic Hockey is just out of frame and Grand Tour and Bazaar are out in the shop.
Quoted from rufessor:Ok Friday night pinsiders- the Olympic Hockey question of the night is as follows.
My manual indicates there is a volume adjustment for the goal buzzer feature. It cleary shows the part as a phone plug type fitting common to all games of this era where you move a connector to a jack to specify a high score etc. it shows as a two plug receptacle. It is described as “Acessible by opening front door”
Question is. Where the heck is it?
Bottom side of the playfield near the flippers.
20190607_201324_resized (resized).jpgQuoted from rufessor:Thats a beastly arrangement with 5 clustered up there and the ball can come out with some juice on it! Even as mangled and semi operational as it is currently- this is going to rip once it is fully restored!
This title is one of the fastest EM in our collection, we love it! 2 player is especially exciting.
Quoted from rufessor:Wowo!
I also have a Grand Prix! Beware this game is a bit of a devil. For mine- getting puck unit to work has been a bit of a struggle.
The puck unit is VERY touchy in my experience.
Quoted from rufessor:The hockey animation is so good and the game is loud as shit- super lively and the pop bumper swarm action is hilarious. I need to get a buddy over to trash talk and play some hockey!
This game has one of my highest review ratings on Pinside. The pop bumper field, the numerous and different ways you can advance the puck, back glass animation and the buzzer all tie together one hell of a game. Ours is worn and faded but we love it anyway! If you think it is fun one player, wait till you get someone over to play against.
