"Announcing... The Greatest Triumph in Pin Game History - Sensationally New Player Controlled Flipper Bumpers..The player will Laugh! The Spectator will Roar! The operator will be Thrilled!"
Someone needs to have a flipperless pin used in tournaments. That will help level the playing field.
Quoted from DennisDodel:1898 Brunswick-Balke-Collender bagatelle. 7 1/2' x 3'. The red ball at top center counts double when dislodged by the cue ball. Tough shot as the ball usually travels all the way around the arch.

What's the objective of the game and is it coin op?
At 71/2 x 3 foot it takes up a lot of space.
My cousin still has the 1890's (4 1/2' x 9') Brunswick pool table my father bought as a kid.
I learned to play this table on back in the 60's and 70's.

Here's a copy of the rules Vic. They are hard to see in the game photo, but each hole and the bottom pockets are marked with score values. The two center oblong areas open when a ball passes over them and drop in to return for an extra ball. The game is not coin-op.

I know they made lots of pinball machines over the decades, but I don't really think about any games older than some pre-DMD games like Party Monsters or Funhouse. I did enjoy perusing the pics in this thread, though. Pinball has had quite a history of evolution.
My first game was CFTBL. Mine was produced in March of 1993 and I bought it in December 1994 for $1895 after looking for it and having feelers out for a couple months.

You and so many others. Thank you very much!

Quoted from AlexF:I have a few older arcade games but my 1951 Globe Trotter is my oldest pinball. I'd love to add something pre-war at some point.

I appreciate that, but was thinking more pre-backbox era. Likely something 1930s. I'm not sure why, I understand a lot of them aren't that engaging, I just like the look.

Here you go.. a few random shots for you. I have to admit to loving the reverse flippers on this game.. switching from this to a standard flipper arrangement really plays with your head!

Wow, that's just beautiful. i read somewhere that they were a conversion of sorts, but not how many they actually did. i would love to find one someday. Congrats!
Quoted from Hawk007:Just got a 1958 roto pool!
Oh dude, I was seriously considering one last weekend. Did you buy it in Chicago?
Ah, congrats. There was pretty decent example at the Chicagoland show last weekend. I was interested, my wife was the voice of reason. I'd need to sell at least 2 to make get my line-up back in order. I really love woodrails though.

I would be glad to take Jungle and Serenade off your hands. You just say the word.
