Quoted from pin_coop:

I am considering having an electrician come in to add a dedicated plug for the machine, but I don't even know what to tell him.

This would be my recommendation. When dealing with house electrical work, if you don't know what you are doing, you are putting yourself and your home in danger.

Ask for a 15 amp dedicated circuit and tell him to check all the grounding. Others will chime in saying they do their own electrical work and how easy it is... but really this isn't something to mess with unless you're experienced or know a lot before doing it, and know the local electrical codes.

If you are planning on expanding to a lot of games, consider that as well. Obviously you can toss a few games on a single 15 amp circuit. But if you are expanding to 6 in the future, plan the electrical now.

And after you are done with that, it is probably the 5 volt regulator or connectors. One quick way to diagnose_ that (not a permanent solution!) is using one of the boards from: https://www.kahr.us/daughterboard.html

But if you just bought the game from a retailer or someone that will support it, report that it is crashing like that. It usually isn't that hard to fix, but does require removing the power board.
