I have had this happen on many of my updates on different pins. When you rewrite on the usb, most will never work for the updates. You need a brand new formatted usb. Put the new code on and I bet it will work. Has worked every time for me. Hope this helps. By the way, you guys at American Pinball have Great customer help!!!

Yes! In my opinion, I believe they have GREAT customer service. They have answered every question I have had very promptly and helpful!
