That's my kind of fishing. lol

I know a few people on here have pictures of camping trips with a pinball machine along for the trip. I believe it was also a FT. I want to see a BBH in the woods now.

#4 10 years ago

BBH in the woods would also be something. Out of season of course =D

This feels like the start of a thread with many wonderful and fun pictures in it.

#5 10 years ago

I figured that was you with your HEP (Hilton Enigma Pinballs) restored FishTales...

#7 10 years ago

Thats one way to guarantee a catch!

#8 10 years ago

I've seen this somewhere before................
I have no idea where that was.

#9 10 years ago

Wasn't this a scene from Deliverance?

#10 10 years ago
Quoted from devlman:

Guess not then there would be a text-balloon floating with "Oink...Oink... OINK!!!!"

#11 10 years ago

Wow, if you take a FT on a fishing trip.....then I really can't wait to see the pictures from the Big Bang Bar trip.

This happened yesterday, so unless you saw it on Reddit, you haven't seen this before

#13 10 years ago

I think I saw that joker at Pinburgh in the DJ booth.

#14 10 years ago

I assumed that was JarJar.

#15 10 years ago

Haha I know who that is. He is in my pinball league... He most likely nudged that thing into the stream without tilting it...

#16 10 years ago

Me, too.

Must have been only in my head then.............
That still looks familiar for some reason.

Is the player a Pinsider?

#19 10 years ago

is that slippery rock creek?

#20 10 years ago

Hopefully he's practicing catch and release. Fish Tales isn't a keeper.

#21 10 years ago
Quoted from RCA1:

I do not believe he is on here.

#22 10 years ago

That is the elusive legendary creature called a Fatsquatch.

#23 10 years ago

I hope the game is grounded correctly.

#24 10 years ago

Seems like a good way to get your name in the paper.

#25 10 years ago
Quoted from devlman:

I hear banjos RUN!

#26 10 years ago

I believe that's Jon Replogle? I think he's involved with PAPA so maybe they filmed it as some sort of promotional gag.

#27 10 years ago

This is very similar to the PinPin Films series. Here is the slide show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=SGmnZ2L8Kqw

I believe my Banzai Run is in PinPin Films Crazee 8s.

This shot is not from the PinPin crew.

#29 10 years ago

There is nothing more ironic than driving hours out of town to film something without people seeing it, then having the only person that will drive down that road for the next hour stop and take a picture from a cell phone and post it online.

What are the odds?

#30 10 years ago

Like the extension cord in the water.

#31 10 years ago
Quoted from Pin-it:

Ya sur do have a purdy FT.....

#32 10 years ago

This will be 90 seconds worth of material for a PAPAtv episode released sometime later this year. We will be and have been taking numerous games to unusual places to generate interviews with random people, interest in the game, and interesting footage. This photo is of one of those trips that has leaked out, and shockingly fast...

PAPAtv will be many things.

Shouldn't that be Fishtales......."in the wild"?

#34 10 years ago

Awesome stuff.

The is what Happens when Ken tells me about Reddit/gone wild and that turns into Reddit/pinball which turns into me looking at Reddit/wtf >> funny that this pic showed up in WTF, which sounds like it got the reaction it deserved.

Sounds like a cool little series!

What covered bridge is that? Yinz guys go up to Somerset County, or what?

#37 10 years ago

That game does not look properly leveled

Looks like it could be! I'm about 1/2 away from there.

Fishing is boring to me, so having this setup would add some excitement!

posted by Papa tv kickstarter:

That is Jon Replogle and Mark Steinem, playing Fish Tales while fishing. These photos were snapped by a passer-by and went a little viral. Here's what Mark has to say:

Way to take the theme literally! Reminds me of the time I got the AFM high score right after my alien abduction and anal probe.

You're from the mountain and should know better! No fisherman is going to publicly give away his locations if they are loaded with monster fish!

Also, Fayette, not somerset. Couple more miles down the road.

ps. Anastasia wants you to help us navigate California when we're hauling pins during the roadtrip.

Yes, Bowen and I were chatting about this a bit just yesterday, we need to plan up! I'm going to ring you guys next week. Good times! Tell Anastasia I say hello!

I can't feel good about a live electrical line running through water. It just gives me the willies.

#47 10 years ago

Rubber waders are a good idea with this fad. This is a prime example of "Shock fishin'", it's the new thing all the kids are doing around the nation. Find a body of water and after "lighting up" the water, just grab a net and scoop the fishy bodies that rise to the surface. Just a touch safer than "Dynamite fishin'" as long as you keep your insulation handy.

Darwin lives on, in theory at least.
