Shopping out a S.P and wanted to try colored sleeves but I don't want to cause problems, anyone have experience with non tapered sleeves in stern games or should I stick with original black tapered?

I don't think SP used tapered sleeves as original equipment. Mine came with standard black post sleeves everywhere. Some tall (common) and some short.

I replaced several of my tall sleeves with colored sleeves. They work just fine.
Pretty sure Titan Pinball has standard thickness & thin Post Sleeves.
Eric may also have Tapered, I've just never looked for them.

They do, as well as the Sega/Stern short post sleeves.
