Quoted from judremy:They also had programmers that CARED more like Keith Johnson. Pride is becoming a rare commodity in the world today.
It seems Sheets cares and he is a current programmer
Quoted from judremy:Yes, that is why I said they had ProgrammerS. Now, outside of Lyman, none have demonstrated any commitment or pride in their work. Just another day at the office. Where has all the passion gone?
Just b/c you or anyone else does not like the other programmers games/code does not mean they are "just putting in another day at the office". I'm sure they are all very passionate about pinball!
Quoted from judremy:You need to show your passion to have passion. Not finishing something is not having a passion. And yes, I am a programmer and do work extra (unpaid) hours all the time because I DO care.
Just b/c you do not get paid for choosing to work in your free time on projects does not make you more passionate or less passionate about pinball or programming. Just means you have less money in your pocket dude.
Quoted from rai:Don't agree with that at all, it seems to me as if they don't care one bit or else have no talent at all with pinball code or rules. Just a huge mess. Ok it is better than if was but the rules are totally inadequate and show no nuances like Tron had.
Have you every spoken to any of them? You realize they are not in charge right? Oh, and I believe more then one programmer worked on tron. I have found that most people working in the pinball industry in any form are pretty passionate about pinball! I bet all the programmers at Stern work hard and are no different.
