Drats did something wrong, can only vote for one...not sure if I can fix it....ahhh
Alien is the only game in the stratosphere of what I'm willing to pay. Dialed in looks sweet though! Will most likely buy none and pickup an older Stern Pro like GOT or Met.
Quoted from SuperPinball:You forgot to include Houdini
No I didn't, actually....I just can't....
Dialed in was fun. BM66 was cool to look at but not being able to play it, well, can't say. Alien just doesn't do anything for ME, but I wish them well. So, instead of being excited to throw money at something new (including the cancelled announcement of remake #2), I'll be looking at something B/W likely...not Stern Pro since I already have 2 & I don't want the proportion any higher than that. The 2 in play i thought cost way too much, so none for me
Of the three games listed, only able to play Dialed In. Batman66 was in attract mode only and Alien (x2) were technically down a majority of their party at Twin Peaks. If pricing on Dialed in was lower it would be a possibility based on gameplay.
None at this pricing. Alien team missed an opportunity to showcase a pin. How do you have a party and neither game works?

Both worked when i was there?
They were also on the floor all day today and working fine...

Jack has said there is an "operator" version of Dialed In with cheaper pricing coming. I'm guessing $7500, with stainless legs and no fancy trim, maybe no shaker motor?

Alien is the one I'm most attracted to, but watching some of the videos from expo, it looks like it flips pretty rough. Quite a few dead shots when ramps, etc weren't hit perfectly and ball momentum loss on the videos I watched. On one of them the ball got stuck at the top of the ramp because of the momentum loss when it navigated the hairpin. Kind of killed my enthusiasm from the well-produced launch video and theme.

Still a lot for an operator.

I played about 15 games on it over the weekend. Shots are very clean, quick, and FAST. If you have played a fullT then it plays in that same style but way better. It has the heighway feel of needing to learn your shots because they are slightly different than first expected. After you learn them then they are butter smooth and great flow! I have alot of time on fullt so stepped into alien shots quickly.
There were a few ball hangup spots, but these are preproduction so that is expected. Angles, geometry, flow, and feel was great imho.

Agreed...with final tweaks this game will bring a new level in gameplay. Very tough, but purposeful shots, deadly speed ( this is a widebody?)..Finally got to play FT a bit as well, absolute flow monster...
I enjoyed playing Dialed in but it is out of my price range ,maybe a used one someday a few years down the road .
Quoted from danczaz:Where's Aerosmith?
In Dirty Donny's coffee table book. Ghostbusters fiasco really messed up Stern's 2016 release schedule.
It's not even close.....
*hears the proximity sensor go off* *lock and loads pulse rifle*
Can't wait !

$8k
Quoted from bkfiv:Stern had multiple events this weekend & BM66 didn't work either.
I stated that. They were in attract mode.

I saw you also at Twin Peaks. We were there for about an hour - never saw game play. Take that back, saw one game from afar then they had to raise play field and do something to it.
I like FT, so not trying to be critical. While we were there, didn't see anything gameplay wise on Alien. Really nice of the Heighway guys to throw the Expo party there though. We're rooting for them. That's why we hung out for about an hour.
You have JJP with way too long presentation reveal and then Heighway's party with really no presentation - just food, games and hats/t-shirts - which is appreciated btw. Sort of on either end of the extreme for reveal parties.
Jjp pin for sure with the quirky theme and great gameplay it will really stand out in my collection. Also for the money i feel you get the most game / features and great build quality compared to the other offerings .Plus all the upgrades like invisaglass , shaker ,powdercoated everything .
Alien is nice but if you get the fully loaded le model with shipping i believe its also around 8700-9k? .While i love the theme i believe the jjp pin will be better to play with much more going on but man the theme fits my collection perfectly so maybe ill get one down the road after i see the finished product.

That's awesome

I don't think I can edit a poll and change this option. Will try anyway.
The other option would be to close this thread, and create another one with a new poll. Unsure if worth it.
Done !
Quoted from MK6PIN:Op....can you please close this thread, as I started a more accurate one? Thanks...mark
My pleasure!
