Ok. Does my Stern Shaker motor sound normal?

Ok. So I asked a similar question last year but have now had time to investigate further. My ‘brrrrrp’ noise appears to be coming from the motor itself. And as this is my only shaker motor I don’t know whats normal. Does it sound normal to you fellow pinheads?

No, sounds like the counter weights on the ends are too far out of whack. You can loosen the allen head screw and line them up better to shake and not do what you have going on there.

Yeah, that sounds wrong. Adjust the weight orientations. If you can't get it to go away, try it with no weights on either end - I bet that sound is gone.

Thanks for that. I have adjusted my weights and even took them off completely. I have added two videos, now what do you think?

Yeah, I think the motor itself is messed up. Maybe the bearings siezed or broke?
