There was a Firepower there?
Quoted from nitrojcrawf:You swap out your F14 for FP
No, unfortunately my helper is in the hospital so I wasn't able to swap out Firepower when Sorcerer went down. F-14 is still in the tournament, but I feel bad I don't have anything on the floor.
Quoted from Deez:Glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately it fried the bat coil yesterday evening. Tried to repair it but I think 3 days of play on a 50 year old coil was just too much.
The bat coil went out on Friday--I turned it off and made sure that you got a text to let you know. I did notice that it got turned back on and was playing again shortly after that.
I did manage to shoot a 29 on it--I assume that is a good score????
Had a blast playing it--thanks for bringing it!!!
Quoted from Collin:Anyone still at the show happen to have a 6821 PIA? Please shoot me a PM if you do.
I'm not there but somebody needed one in Texas - and they found one on an old williams sound board. A little solder-sucking to free it and they popped in where needed. Point is if anyone is selling "junk" boards, give them a quick look-through for the PIA.

Quoted from tomh52722:The only part that I didn't like was that there weren't many vendors selling new products and the vendors seemed to clear out early Saturday evening before I had the chance to buy anything. Maybe I should have shopped earlier, but I didn't think it would be an issue at 6pm when the show closed at 11 with one more day to go.
Time to buy is when you see it. Shop first and play games later.

John
Point taken. Next time, I will definitely do that!

Still going.
Andrew Rosa II and David Riel are playing to be in the top 4. Winner will play Chris Tabaka. DJ up 2-1.
John Delzoppo and Trent Augustine are playing to get in the final bracket. Trent up 2-0.
Quoted from fxdwg:thank you for the update! I didn't realize it went this late on the last day. appreciate it.
No problem. Yeah, the tournament always goes late. Usually no one left to cheer on the top players.
Chris Tabaka is finally getting an opponent: DJ.
John D is facing elimination.
Trent versus DJ for top spot. Just started 24.
John D versus Chris T for third. Just started Demo Man.
Quoted from SirScott:The bat coil went out on Friday
Quoted from Geocab:Game 5. All tied up. Moving on to 24.
I'm cheerin for both. I know Trent won the last couple times(?), but DJ is a local Pittsburgher!
Apologies for not staying to cheer them on in person.
Quoted from Geocab:Emidio just made his 4th visit, complaining that we're still here.
Remember Mike bitching at eXPO : HurrY the FCUk up, we GOttA gET THEse MAChINeS back to|SteRN by 4 o'cLOCK!!!!
Quoted from terrapinmark:Mike P. is in Cincy making up his Ohio Pinball league absence from 2 weeks ago.
I hear he's also making up his Cinci sessions from from two years ago.
Had a great time at the show. Was only able to attend on Friday. Great to see old friends. Played some games that I didn't expect to be there and surprised didn't see some games I expected to be there. Bought some parts too. Torn between Dialed in and AFM remake. Liked them both and can only afford one. Thank guys for putting on a great show.
Quoted from Euchrid:Congrats, Trent!
And thanks Waddlejr for putting on the juniors tourney!
Thank Tommy for that, I made sure to get it scheduled but he was the one who really made it tick while I was handling things in the main event. I'm glad everyone had fun
I was blown away by both Dialed In and AFMr. I think I'm leaning towards getting a Dialed in because I think it'll be a fun experience to watch the game grow as the code matures since you can't do that with a Stern without risk of abandonment. AFMr is gorgeous and I might pick one up later, but am still enjoying my original for now. I had a great time at the show. Thanks to Marvin and Mike for putting it together and everyone nursing their back pain this morning from bringing games. It was great seeing everyone and look forward to seeing the crew in Allentown next month.
favorite game was batman 66 seemed really deep, I posted up 300 million and never even got to multiball?!
dialed in and aerosmith right behind and excellent titles
my great find was at dayhuffs table ! scored a cool shirt and a plastic I bought on a whim for a buck!
here its one that on my machine was broken haha great fun and seeing and meeting fellow pinsiders
Quoted from rollinover:favorite game was Batman 66
Seemed really SLOW to me, for a modern game. I had more excitement on some of the EMs at the show.
The AFMr was sweet and I really like Dialed In. Aerosmith was fun, I had a lot of time to play it on Sunday while waiting for the tournament to wrap up.
My favorite of the show though, was Centaur. Those spikes fit the theme well and I only got bit once trying to save a left outlane drain. The sub added a nice effect to the background.
Fathom was great too. And so was the Alvin G poker old west game of which I can't remember the name.
Skypilot's Cactus Canyon was cool to get time on. Never saw an Atlantis that was so nice.
Deadly Weapon was neat.
So many others...I had a great time.
Watching the end of the tournament just reminded me of how I'll never be good enough to play in one. Those top guys were incredible.
I'm glad the few times my F-14 went down, the repairs were simple and the game was able to keep being played.
See you all in September!
I want to commend those who ran the tournament this year. It was the best run Ohio tournament that I could ever remember. Thank you!

PISTOL POKER
yeah that one was a nice surprise too and viper night drivin!
Quoted from rollinover:also I would like to take a nod towards rob zombie best sounding machine i played
And with Scott's "Pinstadium" lights installed, I'm sure it was the best lit machine there too. Those lights do amazing things, even to machines already outfitted with LED's.
