I see a few posts about the load out and how smooth it was. I will respectfully dispute that. It likely went “smooth” this time because there was no snow or blizzard to deal with.
I was the first one to get a dock pass. Only to get to the dock just after 5 to find around 10 vehicles in front of me that didn’t have passes. They all went up. 20 + minutes of sitting in the street.
Then let’s try and get some trailers in the hall, good grief. Looked like the Austin Powers cart scene. No one checked to make sure I was even taking the game I own. They were all busy trying to unass the vehicles.
Maybe some type of staggered pre arranged load out would be better than the free for all cluster that always seem to happen.
There honestly is no benefit to bringing games. Other than help making the show happen I guess. It’s more hassle than it’s worth. It seem like profits are more important these days. May as well just buy the VIG pass and go to all the cool stuff. The “game bringer” after party is nothing like it use to be…
Not trying to be all negative here but some things need attention. Overall the vendor games were plentiful and fun to play.
