The search is over, found a excellent condition Tron pro from the first production run.
It will be here in a few weeks, will post some pics when it arrives.
Time to go mod shopping.
Stoked!
Quoted from MK6PIN:SWEET!!!.....congrats and welcome.....
Thanks mate!
I'm very happy to be here.
Quoted from 2Kaulitz:Conrad's now you need to find all the mods you want I also found 1st run Tron pro and was lucky to find with 80% of mods I wanted done already.
Mine has a shaker and the hallmark light cycles, so it will be a long road modding this out.
I will add the plastic protectors, eli ramp kit, Flynn arcade sign, chrome pop bumper kit and arcade machine upgrade, mirror blades.
That should do for starters.
Quoted from Superchicken:Before you ask, here is the distilled answer:
Clear disk (also now comes in colors). Buy spares. Shipping from Germany can take a while unless you pony up $40 for UPS:

Order a new plastic disk from Pinballlife. Removing the OEM black disc rubber is hard and does not provide a good bonding surface for the new rubber. Spend the $20 on a new plastic disc:
http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=2539
Use 3m 77 spray adhesive on both surfaces to attach. Don't remove the mask from the plastic disk until after you spray the adhesive. It looks like tissue paper and protects the clear ridge and exposed plastic disk from the glue. Peel off the mask and apply the 2 piece rubber set.

Make sure you have a set of plastic protectors installed before installing this mod. It's a mind blower. It truly is "the disc of doom."
This disc of doom sounds very interesting.
Quoted from Superchicken:If there is any pin that deserves a subwoofer this is it. Here's and easy way to add a powered subwoofer

That's a great idea, thank you. I have a spare powered sub from the home theatre system that I was going to sell, now I will fit it to Tron.
Quoted from monkeyboypaul:That is good news!
Get the illuminated ramp kit (priority) & a colorDMD fitted and your day will go from good to great.
Ramp kit, plastic protectors, chrome pop bumper kit and pinnovators sub kit are on the way, still undecided on the color dmd.
On the list for the next run of the arcade mod as well.
Can't stop playing, this game is crazy addictive.
Got to Portal today, what a rush! I was shaking for about 5 mins after the game had ended.
Insane!
I am still in the honeymoon phase with Tron but the more I play it the more I find myself looking at my Spiderman and thinking that it might be time to move it on for another title.
Quoted from labnip:yup
(fun game)
but, yup.
Tough decision but we only have room for two pins.
I'm thinking Met Pro.
Quoted from Hougie:I have those two next to each other and they make an excellent pair.
They look great together!
It's looking more and more likely that I will replace Sm with Met.

Got it in the mail today and installed. I am blown away at how good the game sounds now for such a easy install.
Thanks again for the tip.
Quoted from dkpinball:I've got three Flynn's signs and some FTS-8's left. PM me if you're interested.
PM Sent
Quoted from jokerpoker:Sadly Tron has left the building. 1 minutes silence please.
Oh no, bummer to see that you have left the grid but I'm sure another program will be very happy with this acquisition.
