Quoted from monkeyboypaul:Stick an LED in the recogniser!
Very nice looking game there.
It dose have one, but its connected to the insert flasher.
The blue disc inserts are very see through, what leds have people been happy with under these inserts?
Quoted from MK6PIN:Clear disc immediately!!!
I have one on the way along with a transparent rubber set.
Quoted from MK6PIN:Nice looking machine, btw!!!
Thanks
Quoted from MK6PIN:There's also a real cool, animated backbox light kit for the 3D translight ...just can't remember where I got the damn thing...black mirror pin blasé look great, too...
I will look into that. I have standard mirror blades fitted already.
I just finished fitting a transparent disc and rubber set. The disc is putting crazy spin and speed on the ball ( as expected! ) but its a little too crazy I think, making Gem shots for me and even spinning halfway up the left ramp. Will it calm down a bit with use?
Quoted from PaulCoff:No such thing with TRON
I know what you are saying, I was all for speeding it up but you have to draw the line somewhere...I can see this thing breaking plastics. One of the first balls that shot out of it managed to burrow under a slingshot rubber as the ball sort refuge under a slingshot plastic.
Is anyone else with the clear disc having issues with the ball moving so fast, probably with a lot of backspin, that its getting under the sling rubber? Its happened to be twice in the few days since I fitted the disc. I have pinball center transparent rubbers fitted, 2" to the slings.
Quoted from centerflank:Yes, adhesive spray, preferably a non-acid type if you can find it, contact cement has worked for other people as well.
Hmm...I didn't used any additional adhesive, can I expect mine to fly off in the middle of my league meet this weekend?
I have 2" transparent rings on the slings bought from pinball center, yesterday during my league meet one of the sling arms got infront of the rubber 4 or 5 times. Anyone else having problems with this?
Quoted from northvibe:I've tried to get gem via the shooter lane. Hard shot.
In another thread people were talking about banking it off the left side stand ups, drops on the LE, and hitting gem from that.
I try to hit gem via the upper flipper but it is not consistent. Also banking it off targets or stand ups even the upper flipper from the right flipper, but again I cannot replicate :/
Backspin off the clear disc rubber gives me quite a few Gem shots :>
Quoted from Justbringit9282:Update :
When I get home from work this morning I was looking at my right ramp and noticed that my ramp is actually broke on both sides. I will need to replace the ramp : ( , never had anything to compare it to. can I go with an LE ramp so I wont have to drill holes?
Depending on the damage to the ramp you could fit a protector set to cover the damage. My left ramp was cracked so I recently fitted a set.
