Until Dave asked this question and I went down to look at mine with the light shining on it it looks goofy but I always play with zero overhead lighting and they never jumped out at me.

edit---I still have my tie heads near the outer edge, I never tucked them back under the fiber cable

I just checked, I definitely did it "outside". I really can't see how it would be different enough the other way. Either way I never think about the ties.

I did too on the spots where the ramp has that extra plastic flap edge....where its thin I only did one.

Yup, as Centerflank said, on the spots where the ramp flap is really wide, I drilled two. My thought was to have the fiber hug right to the edge of the side of the ramp. I'm trying to be meticulous, but maybe I'm making a mistake. I've just seen some where the fiber gets away from the ramp on corners, or wasn't quite in the spot I thought would look best. I'm about half way done, so time will tell if I made the right choices.

Honestly, I didn't enjoy installing this mod. I usually love working on my games, but for some reason I found the ramp kit stressful. It's gorgeous, and extremely cool. And from a couple quick test games the integration with the game is rediculous. I just found it a pain to actually get it done. However... Done!

I was just being a pu$$y earlier because of the work to put it in. This mod is amazing! Once you get a game rocking, wow. And now my Tron finally matches the decor of the room! (Pardon all the crap and tools still out).
