I still got the ol' devo hats on my tron..... maybe time to upgrade to these. they look icey man.
whats the preferred color on these?? black or chrome?

Yes. Awesome. This will max out my PIG2 connections...I'll now have too many mods to control fully without a second PIG2 LOL.

1st run:

Lack of wiring for shaker motors
LE run:

(if memory serves, the early handful from this run had a 3D backglass and both Light Cycles, they seemed to use them until they ran out)

Clu translite
Run began with the blue and yellow diecast Light Cycle, run ended with a yellow diecast Light Cycle and a blue diecast Light Runner.
4th run:
Everything from the third run, plus:
Games shipped with a Chicks translite installed and a rolled in a tube Clu translite
(diecast) Blue Light Runner and orange Light Jet
Can anyone add anything else to the list?
It's interesting to note (at least from a geeky point of view) that Clu's circuitry color is yellow (after the whole betrayal thing, anyways) and the 3rd run shipped with a yellow cycle. Fourth run the playfield toy (assuming that Stern had run out of their stock of them) became the orange Light Jet - orange being Rinzler's circuitry color, which completely justifies the loss of the Clu translite. Right?
Most(?) of the 3rd run (2013) came with decaled cabs, but there were a few leftover screened cabs they ended up using for that run. I got one of them. Everything else is the same (3d translight, LED DMD, ...).
I have the most rare edition 
for a nominal $20.00 fee I will remove the 'Tron' stickers from folks hooked-pop-caps where they are already installed. Shipping of me in lower 48, ~$2,000.00
This is a deal at a total service+shipping of $2,020.00
But really... it's priceless for that new brighter and less tronny look

I want to get the pinbits devo hats upscaled to actual hat size and wear it while playing, possibly with some internal lighting instrumentation. Good idea? Or the best idea ever?
If I had an iota of photoshop skill I would already have one of those plastered on top of Tron guy's head and posted in this post. :[
Wondering if anyone has come up with some additional mods since posting them here earlier.
For a while, I was considering to get some glowballs, but reports of them chipping killed that idea. I can't imagine anything worse for a pin than a chipped ball scratching across the play field.
I guess, I'm itching to add something new to my beautiful machine. Just not sure there's anything left to add...
I think someone with cad and 3d printing skills could make a whole new bumper cap style that would be similar to the recognizers. Or at least one for the left bumper. I've often thought that bumper maybe was originally designed to be something recognizerish, with its two curiously tall posts
