hahahahahaha !!!!
that's great. i might need to borrow that image in the future
Quoted from ENDOFLINE:i went opening night..... were you there bro?
i made it there. wasn't opening night, but a little later.
did manage to come home with a big bucket of 'Tron Tokens' and some other goodies.
picked up an 'Electronica' light-cycle shirt, but missed buying the cool swag at that downtown disney store. totally forgot to go back and get it there. picked up a few odds and ends.
also picked up those arcade themed pins that came in the atari 2600 mock-boxes. will see if i can find some pix of them.

Done!
Hello Tron Lovers,
I am still looking to buy one.. I am a player but also a collector, with limited space unfortunately..
I will have to let one go...
I have 2 titles in my mind to let go:
1= Lotr (HUO gold)
2= STLE (pending new code)
What are your opinions? And which version of Tron would you recommend, pro or LE?
moving recognizer and chrome too
Quoted from MadocOwain:LE, for drop targets, Daft Punk and resale value.
Tron and other Stern owners - I need your help.
So, if you like shallower, faster flowing games, your favorite pin is HS2, which you play over and over with no boredom, you have a wife, who hates the look of MET and young kids in the house, so you want something good players and casual players can enjoy and you were looking for a Stern - should Tron be number #1 on the list?
I like games that have little goals and awards during gameplay, working towards bigger jackpots, like HS2, and not just play towards the big reward or nothing. EX - My WCS just seems like it is Germany in the finals or nothing.
SM could work or not. IM could work for me, love the ball spinning magnet, but would my wife like the tough gameplay? Never played X-men. how does Tron stack up to these for my situation?
More info of what I like and don't - ACDC is too deep. TSPP seems like a deep journey to nowhere for me. ST is cool, but the missions seem like a chore to me, rather than fun. ST code is not done though.
Any info you Tron and Stern owners have is appreciated. Thanks

I'd say take your pick between Tron and Iron Man.
Quoted from IdahoRealtor:I'd say take your pick between Tron and Iron Man.
Thanks, NorCal. Looks like you did not have to make the choice between the two.
Quoted from Kawydud:Got my new hardware installed as well as the new white DMD with the blue filter. This game looks so good.
Looks great..................now get the Hallmark light cycles.
Tech help - approx. every 4th game or so, machine thinks the ball has drained when it's still in play. I've done a switch check of the ball trough, and all those are fine. I assume something is a bit loose - any ideas what to look for?
Thanks.

As the wife who loves the hell out of the artwork on Metallica and the mother of two boys aged nine and almost five, I'd have to say yes. Here's my living room:

We've also in the past owned Getaway. In a larger collection it wouldn't have been sold (where else are you going to find a supercharged railgun?) - however we all love what's here more than we loved it.
Oh, and I just want to stand up on my soap box and squee with glee. Bitches, I'm back in the Tron owners club!!!

I have a tear in my eye from your speech above.

It's very rare, but I have encountered oddball issues like that with my Pro - my LE never did this. It hasn't happened enough to track down, though. Maybe one game in thirty?

If I had to guess its the plastic connectors at the trough wiggling, try zip ties or hot glueing, see if that cures the problem.

that's what she said

I'm gonna try hot glue on ours....and if that doesn't hold I'm going to solder the wire to the damn pins. SO..STUPID...DESIGN..... I have seen this SAME issue now on Tron, AC/DC, Avengers, TF, and Star Trek. Never seen a Met do it, it's the same bloody design....explain that one.
Quoted from Frax:Never seen a Met do it, it's the same bloody design....explain that one.
My METLE has done it.

Am I supposed to be surprised or something?

Yes. I'm a lucky man! John Bork is killing it lately! Lawlor and Ritchie had a good run, but Borg is the new king if you ask me. I see a Metallica in my future.
I have a question for all the Tron heads. I'm loving mine. Still learning every time I play.
I make it to Sea of Simulation most times I play, but I've never made Portal. I usually drain trying to finish up the levels I didn't complete in SOS.
My question is, how do I restart Sea of Simulation, and hopefully build to Portal?? Do I just need to restart/try to complete all the modes that are once again unlit after Sea of Simulation??
Quoted from MapleSyrup:My question is, how do I restart Sea of Simulation, and hopefully build to Portal?? Do I just need to restart/try to complete all the modes that are once again unlit after Sea of Simulation??
Asked this very question myself a while back (hopefully the thread will answer your question):

Put new black rubbers back on the slings tonight in place of the clears I had put on for aesthetic purposes. The clears looked awesome in the beginning but they were blacking up anyway and they are a real dead rebound. Gee there is nothing like some new rubbers. Feels like a new machine. Remembering simple maintenance, eh?
Australian alternative band (Regurgitator) from 1997 - film clip from one of their single releases. Check it out Tron lovers

Metallica is so good, love having it next to my Tron. The Borg/Lyman masterpieces!

what's this Metallica you speaketh of ?
Can I join the club?
Opened in january 2014 and modded. I'd like to add more but I take a break now and play a bit.
This is already my second Tron pro. I missed it so much, I had to find another NIB and do the modding all over again. But this time with Eli's color changing ramp lighting. Just wonderful!
