Get those dirty black ball trails and marks all over your PLAYFIELD and have to clean it more often or accept the crazy. Sometimes it's easier just to accept the crazy.

I thought the rubber disc would sling it out so fast that it would be breaking plastics and stuff. But nope, it's actually not that bad.

I got mine from pinballcenterflank.com. The customer service sucks balls but but the shipping is reasonable.

No Kim is NOT awesome. I bought that mod from Kim and I had nothing but problems. DO NOT BuY FROM KIM!!!! If you think you had problems with this mark guy you will have more problems with Kim. My mod came in pieces and a big gap down the middle. I emailed Kim and he basically said it wasn't his problem, it happened in the mail and I should contact USPS. What an ass! I'm sure his fans will chime in and say how well their transactions went but I'm also sure their mods came in one piece and unharmed. How many of these fans of Kim had to deal with his horrible customer service if a mod came broken. I garantee none. Once again, do not buy from kimballs pinballs.

I know you don't like DIY but what about in between DIY and pre-made? Honestly if I was to do it again, I would buy one of these 3 SMD pre-wired strips in Orange or red for $2.95

And just pop apart my current RECOGNIZER and stick it in. I mean all the wiring is already done for you all you have to do is take 2 minutes and place it in your Recognizer, so simple. You can have the mod for $2.95.

It depends were you connect it/clip it to under the playfield. As far as I know non of the pre-made Recognizer kits for the pro operate the way you want it to. They all just stay on all the time. If you want it to turn on and off at certain points you will have to hook any of the kits up to a pig2 system.

Yeah but if you do it to the inside you can slide the lump close to the inside of the ramp and it is way less visible. If you do it to the outside you can't really do that and the lump is close to the outside edge of the ramp where it is very visable.

Well I don't have power balls installed, but yesterday I did install 2 blue glo balls and two orange glo balls. They are actually lighter then a powerball. A powerball is 63 grams and a glo ball is 60 grams would that qualify for the free disc offer I could make a video.

Yes a sub is a must on Tron! Get hooked Chrome pop bumpers caps as well. I personally don't think the Flynn sign is a good value, never made sense to me. Just buy hassenchops TRON pinblades and there is a giant Flynn sign right there anyway.

Yes ColorDMD announced TRON earlier this year as getting the colour treatment. Just throw the blue DMD in Metallica and give Tron the colour it deserves

Oh I certainly remember seeing some red and yellow too. That's still three or four more colours then just blue.

What you say is true. Eli's kit is definently not as bright as the LE's, and bright LEDs on your PLAYFIELD do wash out the colour. I asked Martin and Pam at Pinbits about this and they said that the opaque cables they use in the LE's cost 20 times more then the clear cables do. Would you want to pay 20 times more for your Eli's ramp kit? That is why they went with the clear.

I have one that reacts to black light or glows in the dark with no black light. It's pretty cool but no space on the wall for it. You can have it for free if you pay the shipping to USA.

No. According to Pinbits the LE cable is MUCH more expensive. That's why they went with the clear.

I will agree frosted is way brighter for sure. Also the cable that comes on the LE's is a bunch of little fiber optic cables inside the frosted outer shell. The pinbits one is one giant clear cable with a clear outer shell. They are very different. I would prefer the frosted but I spoke to Martin from pinbits about getting one from them and he can't do it due to the reason I stated above. The cost.

No all the kits are the same brightness. It is just how it looks in pictures. When I take pics of mine they look super bright too, but in real life they are not as bright. Also the LEDs you have installed matter a lot too. In centerflanks pic you can see his LEDs aren't as bright as other people's so it gives the "illusion" of the ramp cables being brighter. For example I have a pinballbulbs kit installed in my Tron, by far the brightest LED kit you can get for Tron. It has front and rear lightstrips and three extra double spot lights. When I first installed Eli's kit I was SUPER disappointed on how dim it was. Then I figured out that my super bright LEDs were over powering it so I took out the rear lightstrip and the ramp cables "appeared" to be much brighter. I'm sure if I took out the front lightstrips and all the extra double spotlights it would "appear" even more bright, but I won't, they're awesome

Someone on here could scan theirs, make a vinyl sticker, and stick it to the bottom of a piece of clear plastic cut in the shape of the one you broke. Thus making you a brand new plastic. Little shop of games makes Arwren repo plastics for LOTR using that process.

I like how the GI changes colour more then I like the ramps. I think the Ramps are awesome but I really love the colour changing GI!

I never met the guy that sells the discs out of Tronville, but I did hear he is a super douche

I can tell you my experience with putting 4 glow balls in my Tron. One they got really chewed up really fast, although I don't think power balls will do that. And two, as far as I know power balls are the same weight as glow balls, light. With metal balls my clear disc ripped balls out at super sonic speed. When I put the glow balls in they were too light and they just dribbled out of the disc, like it was still a black disc. So I would say if you have a clear disc installed don't switch to powerballs unless you want to lose that cool disc action.

Why so low?

I took a couple quick pics with the glass on, but what do you think of the vehicles I added and their placement? I added two ships from the movie on the left ramp (bad guy chasing good guy) and added light strips to their bottoms, a lit recognizer in the back left corner and quorra's car in the shooter lane. Super rad or super douchey?

Yeah I agree. I hate the characters in a Tron playfield. I mean why have characters the same size as the vehicles? It just looks really weird to me. I was trying to use vehicles with the same aspect ratio.

Hmmmmm, that's a good idea. I'm going to try that! I added comet light strips to the bottom of each aircraft. Blue for the good guy and orange for the bad guy. You can't really notice they're under there but they do light the playfield up in those areas so I don't count it as a complete failure.
