Yes he did not respond to me either. Which is why I started to look into how to recreate something similar. Might not be as advanced, but at least I'll have something (baseline is a PinShield, a set of four 3W fiber optic led diffuser, and of course fiber optics wires for the ramps).
I'd like to buy a 1st-run "3D" lenticular translite. Please let me know if you have a spare that you would sell. Thanks!

Just added a BUNDLE of FLYNN'S ARCADE + TRON Arcade Cabinet on my pinside shop.
thanks
Happy holiday weekend.
The new yellow arrived and it looks good.
If it matches perfect we will see on the final grid test (with better curves & edges on the yellow plastic) next Tuesday.
Stay tuned.
All the best & stay healthy!

Please make me a set, take myoney and send them immediately¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those look great..
Hasi came back with a price of $38 usd for each set. They need to do 20 sets (yeah, sheets of acrylic are not cheap!)
If someone coordinates the sell, we can receive all 20 sets without any shipping fees. I can take care of folks in Canada, anyone in the US?
Then I can go up the post and look at who was in. Please share this post with other Tron owners you may know!

I’m in put me on the list. Thanks
If it'd be possible to get the new acrylic for mounting the light cycles, I'd jump on the ramp pieces as well.
Greetings programs!
Just an fyi on commitments so far for the Tron fluorescent plastic ramp covers, at $38 USD for each set

Quoted from Ashram56:Greetings,
Working in a DIY mod for Tron, and would like to know where I could find a male connector I could use to get the flashers signal from beneath the spinning disc.
Picture attached of the flasher
Cheers

Try comet pinball
Custom Tron mod I designed for the spinning disc
Three mode of operations:
- disc idle
- spinning disc in one direction
- spinning disc in another direction
I bet no one knew the disc could spin clockwise and counter clockwise
Uses a small arduino to control the led ring
[EDIT] Electronics design for the arduino system based on BigLebowski PinShield, ring holder under playfield on motor disc designed by me (PLA 3D Print), Arduino code using WS2812FX library and some custom simple detection scheme reading GPIOs to trigger LED patterns

Actually, the disc changes color based on direction it is spinning. (Stock code)

Didn't know that, my Tron had four red flashers beneath the disc, so it never changed color.

Yup, supposed to be red in one direction, blue in the other (I believe)

Correct the motor triggers the change.

That’s only on LE’s - it’s just red on Pro’s

Quoted from mnrocketry:The Tron Legacy movie was released 10 years ago today. I might have to re-watch it tonight.[quoted image]
I grew up with the original tron and was super thrilled when the new one was released in 2010. To celebrate the anniversary i got my self a Tron Pro yesterday.
Is there a reason for that post being there, underneath the Sam image? The ball wouldn't be able to it that bulb anyway, but in some instances it could hit that metal pin. I figure maybe a rubber goes from one post to the other instead of that single rubber on the front post?

Congrats, Tron was a game that I was looking for and it has not disappointed! Everybody that plays it just loves the music, the different sounds, those fabulous lighted ramps!
We actually watched Tron Legacy again the other day (I watch it often), still totally fun and never get tired of it!

It is correct without a rubber. The post is there to stop the sam plastic from breaking. Just adds additional support.

Tks bud, it makes sense. Still, a quirky design/built thing..! That post does throw a big shadow under an already poorly lighted plastic. I'll try a lighted post to see how it looks.

Looks great, but your motor sounds super loud.
Quoted from Durzel:Looks great, but your motor sounds super loud.
Oh yes. But I don't have any comparison point, so I was wondering if this was expected. Besides changing the motor, any option to reduce noise ?

Mines loud as well but not that loud. I’ve heard putting a drop of 3 In 1 oil on the motor shaft will fix this to a certain extent.
Just wondering if there are other options that others have used for the 4 resistors that are installed for the spinner motor circuit?
When I hit the right ramp from the upper left flipper, I like to try to collect the End of Line jackpot in the scoop (thank you, PAPA tutorial video!).
However, when the ball hits the blue rubber stop at the end of the plastic ramp, it rebounds up pretty far (3-4 inches?), then falls back to the end of the ramp & drops down into the inlane.
This wastes 1-2 seconds, & often I'm a hair too late to collect my End of Line bonus.
What can I do to lessen the bounce of this rubber stopper?
Thank you,
-Jason

I would check the level/steepness of your game and after that, maybe see about replacing that rubber stopper.
