Looks like I'm going to order a clear disc, I have the blue one installed, and I just don't see the action that the clear one gets.
I do use the blitz one grand wax, and I've always wondered if my pf is just too slick to see insane ball English.
Can anyone else confirm the difference between the German blue and clear disc?
Also, I don't remember. Do I need to remove the disc rubber from the clear plastic to remove the clear plastic disc from the motor? Pics?

They feel pretty normal like the last bats that were in.
I put the clear super bands on which are super tight so we will see if they break

Two rule questions:
1) Is there any time when Gem switch hits do not count (excluding SOS when you've already completed her)
2) After you start Quorra Multiball and add both balls by hitting the recognizer 6 times, the recognizer lowers and spinning disc becomes accessible. Are subsequent hits to the disc counted towards disc MB progress? Are they counted at all? it seems they are not...
Absolutely loving this game and have been inches away from Portal several times. Can't ever get both Quorra and Lightcycle completed in same game!

1. no... just a bad contact cause ball is too fast (happend on mine too)

I found them on EBay, bought a bunch of them, put 2 on the front legs

I recently took out the incandescents on my Tron LE GI. Replaced them with frosted cool whites. Pin is much brighter but the El wiring is washed out now. Even in a dark room, the El wiring doesn't seem as vibrant as before.
I have blues and yellows in the inlanes/slings.
I personally don't really like making pins totally blue. What's the best way to brighten up the pin without washing out the EL wiring?

I'm not sure which LED you used. I also went through that error whereby I used high quality 2 SMD frosted bulbs, which washed out the Eli lights. The solution I found was to use the cheapest white LED I could find. The link below worked for me. I picked frosted whites, which turned out to have a slightly blue tint. A dim bluish LED would normally be considered low quality but is a perfect fit for Tron.

single smd in the gi. twin smd in the inserts. this is a pro though. as I understand it the eli mods are a bit brighter than stock le ramp lighting
I have a arcade tron mod 2.1 display up for sale i also have the cab parts that would need to be fixed resembled ect. It broke apart from flying ball and tried to fix but it was all hot gluded At least i got 3.1 ver coming If anyone want's the display or cab parts lmk ill let go cheap.
I've always been curious what the difference is in the version of the arcade mods. I have the arcade mod but have no idea what version it is since I bought my Pro with it already installed by previous owner.
What is the difference between versions?

there not too much the newest 3.1 has a brighter screen i think from 2.1 they had light up joystick

I could scan mine with a scanner, if you would like to remake your own.
Swapped in all new flipper assemblies, mechs, coils--all of it. The game wasn't fast enough. Now it's a speed demon for me.
