Put a few games on a location Pro last night. As a former JP and current AIQ owner, I felt like this was clearly a progression for Elwin. Even looks very similar to AIQ with the color scheme and roller coaster wire forms.

Like AIQ, I had absolutely no idea what in the world I was supposed to be doing with the initial games played. The shots feel good, light show is great (but blinding), and the sound was really well done. I'm personally not a buyer for this game, but I have no doubts that people are going to like it a lot.

So awesome to see le's on the line. Looks like just 1 week behind schedule. Hopefully be last week of this month/1st week of November for my first NIB premium.

Played two games at Little Shop of Games last night...this one is going to be a big hit.

#1204 2 years ago

If LEs are in the line when do you think they will ship out?

#1205 2 years ago
Quoted from Medic:

Probably next week

#1206 2 years ago

Christ, I need someplace in Dallas to try this thing out so I can decide if it's worth trying to murder myself over..... (other than the one place I know that has it, which isn't really a location)

#1207 2 years ago

Well, the post that the LEs were on the line was hours ago now..... I hope all 1000 are now boxed up and ready to ship.

#1208 2 years ago

I’m surprised that they didn’t use the AIQ banana ramp on the right to make the ramp more makeable from the upper. Maybe it didn’t help enough

Those that have played the pro, what did you think of trying to make the ramp shot with the upper flipper? Impossible? Also, how about the non-shot to the left of the building? Is that weird?

Can’t wait to get my LE

I watched a stream from MotorCityPinball and, from what I saw, the upper flipper made the right ramp only once and that was a ball that bounced up and basically stopped right on the middle of the flipper. Other than that, Upper Flipper to right ramp shots seemed like they came back super dangerous.

It would be cool if you could add the Stern Insider QR code to your mobile wallet (Google Pay/Apple Pay) for quick & easy access.

Hehe I hear ya... I think read somewhere that their output was 400 assembled games/week?

How many locations have 5 Godzilla pros to play today? @helicon in Pittsburgh rocks. Thanks chrisb and cjmjmm2006

The right ramp is shockingly super easy to make from the lower flipper given the distance… one of the easiest shots in the game. Half shocks are deadly returns tho… as are misses from the heat ray spinner just to its left

#1216 2 years ago

Just watched the making of AIQ, first time looking at it. The hidden lighted subway, popup spinning disc, and hanging magnet ball look really cool. Comparing the collapsing building, broken bridge, manga grab, magnet Mechazilla, which machine of the two has the "better/cooler" features?

Once I get my Godzilla Premium I can offer an opinion.

I think AIQ Premium is fantastic - and the Captain Marvel loop is fun everytime!

#1218 2 years ago

What's the code at on the pros? It was at .78 or something on the one I played and the code clearly had a ways to go.

#1219 2 years ago

But…Why? Also…why are two turned off?

Quoted from rai:

I agree and have TWD and Met pro both. I could have got the premium but like the more simple gameplay. Too bad tho that Met and TWD the pro doesn’t have spinners. At least on Keith pros he keeps the spinners.
I don’t think the Godzilla premium extra toys are essential but more just the extra wow factor like the T-Rex on JP premium.

off topic again but MET yes, TWD def not. If you get a premium that is setup right, it's amazing. My TWD LE left ramp is butter, pops exit fairly and the walker bomb along with the other perks, including the enhanced GI, really makes the game sing. prem/le all the way on TWD.

Could you take a shooter lane pic for Cliffy? I suspect the shooter lane has the left guide rail screwed into the playfield. and Cliffy will need to make a special one for Godzilla.

My favorite pic is the one where a can of Monster blocks half the shot and the flash on it darkens the actual subject of the photo. Amazing photography, keep it up.

Really it’s not necessary for the ramp to be hit from the upper flipper. I kind of hate that fat ramp on AIQ. IMO better to have shots that are only makable by certain flippers. With AIQ almost like no skill just flail away and make that ramp.

Beat me to it. Bombs make a huge difference in TWD. Changes the strategy of the game and allows you to go for big stacks.

#1235 2 years ago

Should a person buy an extra building mech on prem/le in case it breaks in the future? Looks complicated to fix if need be. Prob a $500-700?

Not gonna lie, that's the first thing I thought when I saw the picture of the building mechs all ready for unboxing...

... On the other hand, I'm used to a routed star star Trek that was somewhat frequently in need of repair for the first year I had it, so I might be biased. I'm told that NIB games are much better, though this will be my first, so ...

Don’t go blowing money on parts you don’t need. If anything, you might need a node board down the line. But you won’t know which until you do. That steel box is the last of your worries.

#1239 2 years ago

Yeah, it really doesn't look like it would be hard to repair. Similar to Iron Monger mech or Electric Magic mech.

We have a pro at

Open Market OC in Laguna Hills CA

It looks like the building itself has no moving parts, the diverters are diff on each level. I think only issue could be leveling it side to side to move freely, so it looks to be well designed

#1243 2 years ago

Got a lot of games in on the pro at the York Show on Friday. Just have to say I was amazed at the fast flow of this games. I usually prefer pros over the higher for flow and price. This one didn’t disappoint at all. If I had the money I would grab one at the show.

Problem is right now getting parts. I wonder if they are at peak production right now with part shortages and labor shortages.

#1245 2 years ago

Love to see all these games in the wild. Really blown away by the entire package. Congrats to all who have theirs and those playing on location. Can’t wait to get my game. Thanks ZMeny for being a great distributor and friend.

Anyone see the pro in central Florida?

#1248 2 years ago
Quoted from BanditBen:

FUN! in Mesquite now has a Pro in store.

Which is a retail establishment, not a location. I don't like Craig, and more importantly, Craig doesn't like me, so I'm not gonna go jam on his games, even if he's offering to let people play the "floor model".

#1249 2 years ago
Quoted from rai:

I played it today at the pinball lounge.

#1250 2 years ago

I played several games at Ocelot Brewery in Northern Virginia today. The game was playing real nice until the magnet died. With the dead magnet any shot into the building results in sdtfm. We stopped playing at that point. Also nobody was able to scan their QR codes. The machine would flash and chime but it didn't recognize any of us. Early days...
