Godzilla looks packed. Love it. Got my LE on order. My first Elwin. LFG.

Where can I get one of these to go with my LE?
Quoted from RoyalJack:Where can I get one of these to go with my LE?
Hopefully it’ll come with the game otherwise Pinball life should have some(?).
Quoted from RoyalJack:Where can I get one of these to go with my LE?
On sterns web page. I downloaded and printed on hi quality photo paper, looks good framed up.
Quoted from cait001:Kind of hyped to watch all 4 Elwin pins battle it out in the Pinside Top 10 as Twilight Zone gets booted from the top 10 list down to # 11..
We are truly entering The Elwin Age of pinball.
Maybe this will be the game to capture the #1 spot, love all his games so far. MM might finally go down a few notches. Love MM too but if I had a choice give me an Elwin pin. Godzilla Premium on order can’t wait!
Quoted from Black_Knight:Where is this impromptu stream?
Quoted from Txcoastal1:First observation, this pro is not lacking, still a lot going on for a ton of fun
Yes, shoots very nice. I'd miss the physical ball lock on building tho, but certainly not a reason to not buy a pro .
I knew they would use the magna grab for the virtual ball lock. Now, if the magna grab will grab two balls for bridge attack multiball, ill be even more happy with my pro purchase.
Watching the stream, the Pro looks fun! I am happy I got a premium, but I don't see the Pro being a disappointment at all.
Definitely in agreement that Pro looks like a ton of game. Anyone else concerned about the flipper gap being too wide or is it the art messing with my eyes?
I dunno.. For my money, the extra 25% pays off getting a Premium. The Pro had a meh factor for me compared to the Premium. Still fun to shoot for sure, but I'm glad I'm spending the extra money.
Did anyone else notice that Stern posted the game manual for Godzilla Pro? Not sure if it was today or yesterday, but it was certainly this week.

Sweet now we can order some Titans for the game.
Quoted from docquest:And that flying drop kick by Godzilla in that movie is hilarious. The MST3K guys liked it such they put that clip in the opening credits for the rest of Joel episodes.

LOL. So bad.
Quoted from Utesichiban:LOL. So bad.
Go back and watch Superman 1 1978...you see the strings when he's flying
Many the 70's especially early 70's that were exciting are more comical but still entertaining
This is why Star Wars was so iconic when it was released
Not sure if this was mentioned elsewhere, but George Gomez was in The chat letting people know of an insider connected presentation on Wednesday

Just think, all the owners can give it a 10!

Yeah this game is far from a 10 out the gate. Even if the gameplay and rules are a 10, this art package is just way off the mark and a 5 at best. Now if this was 90s Godzilla maybe, but not TOHO Godzilla.
really enjoyed the PRO stream, feeling the breaking bridge + the mechagodzilla toy are finally not "really" needeed... meanwhile the moving building IS a real plus of course
but than, the PRO seems really fun as it
Quoted from chuckwurt:It’s a ramp like the right ramp on Munsters or the tower shot on JP.
Thanks. It looks like it extends into the back wall past the playfield.

I love Showa era Godzilla. I think the art is awesome no Stern is a 10 out of the gate. They tend to get better with the updates. Star Trek, Walking Dead, Metallica were all vastly improved. The way this looks, the cool mechs, the way it seems to shoot, being designed by the best designer in the world tend to make me think it has potential to be one of the best games ever. I will not rate it till I play it.
yep ! very nice design/idea... you get the power on the shot you'll make the ramp, no power, ball is back to feed the upper left flipper
Quoted from pascal-pinball:is the lane between the magnet and the building usefull? it looks like an exit for a building shot + magnet grab.
but when you shoot that lane, the ball will come out the building SDTM.
very weird...
Yes, I noticed this same exact thing in the Pro stream last night… there’s no switch for that shot it looks like, only a switch coming out of the tower.
Those who were able make that shot got a SDTM drain…it’ll be interesting to see if Elwin and team do anything clode-wise with that shot. Perhaps a short ball save to prevent cheap drains?
The shot behind the upper flipper does a figure eight has to be one of the longest most interesting shot I’ve seen.

I'm not a fan of the smooth green on Godzilla, but others seem to like it for some reason.
What I do love is that there isn't the standard three pops at the top right. Nice to see multiple new games losing this lame design.
You clearly do not understand what “Toho Godzilla” means. Toho is not an era of Godzilla film. It is the company that controls the license. This IS 100% Toho Godzilla because Toho signed off on it. Also…art package looks great to me.

LOL - you mean the Matthew Broderick skinny Gozillaraptor? That's fu$kin' hilarious........

It’s a very specific era of Godzilla referred to TOHO Godzilla era. Here’s a good description for you:
“ The 30 Toho films are broken up into four distinct eras, the Showa, Heisei and Millennium series, each with its own characteristic style and corresponding to a different time period. A fourth series, dubbed the "Reiwa era" was kickstarted in 2016, following the release of Shin Godzilla.”
This art is closer to the Reiwa era then the TOHO era. If you think it matches anything TOHO era, show me an example.
Lord. Toho is not an era. Toho is a film studio. There are eras of Toho Godzilla films. Shin Godzilla (and thus the resulting Reiwa era) is also a Toho production. You mean to say that the art is not representative of the Showa era of Godzilla, in your opinion. I guess. Otherwise it’s nonsensical.
Really you just don’t like the art. Which is fine. But your attempts to justify your reasoning other than being merely subjective opinion just aren’t congealing.
It's interesting you post a description to explain the eras, which it does and describes the 4.... Then you ignore the proof you provided yourself and still called it toho era?
Quoted from Tranquilize:Just think, all the owners can give it a 10!
Just like the owners of a TZ giving their game a 10 (which is a great game)
If it’s a good pin I will rate it high and keep it, if I don’t like it then I will sell it.
Show me AGAIN that you don’t understand what you are talking about. Lmao, have a good day sir.

The Godzilla Pinball art reminds me a lot of the Godzilla comics from the late '70's... I have some of these from back then!
Godzilla_Vol_1_1.jpgGodzilla_Vol_1_11.jpgThe comic art is nice as well. You’d think those would be worth more. The Topps Godzilla NFTs are worth more which is kinda crazy
Initially, I had problems with the art of the game because I was under the impression it was going to be a more campy game, like the movies or the way the Ultraman pin was done. After seeing gameplay, they went the route of making it just all about having fun while playing. Adding the BOC song and having the art pop makes more sense now.
