Id dissagree and pinball to me is dot matrix. Its like playing a vector game like asteroids on a colour lcd which looks aweful and takes the originality plus original game play away.
Arcade video classic games look terrible on an lcd and crt is way better for displaying and lasts longer compared to lcd .
But thats my view and i hope its a dot matrix display as thats what pinball is all about. I like the dot matrix it can be viewed at any angle compared to some lcds that drop line segments etc.

I think BTTF would be a good remake (or sequel) because the difference in life and social interaction between now and 1985 is astronomically greater than 1985 to 1955, thus it has better story and character development potential.
Like Logan's Run, the theme has become more relevant with time.
your joking are you? Seriously that remake of Karate kid was aweful and will never match the original or its following. As for BTTF it will never be remade as its perfect the way it is and the studios know that . If you want to remake it call it some thing else

I like Huey Lewis and the News.
Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.
In '87, Huey released Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.
Saw these guys a couple of weeks ago and I must say its the best show I have ever seen by any band. Im a huge fan and flew from Australia to see them in New Zealand... I for one would love to see either a new Back to the future pinball or Huey Lewis and the news or a combo of both with Huey lewis involved in a new BTTF pinball... COOL IS THE RULE !

Dmd for me ...not fussed on lcd and i see the issues with them dropping pixels /lines,yellowing over time due to the internal plastic filters ageing eg whites eventually dull down , plus viewing angles.. Lcd makes it look cheap ..personally i would rather Dmd anyday...now shoot me down again
Its like comparing Crt to lcd.. lcd looks crap in arcade cabinets makes older games look blocky , colours dont look right and moving images flicker...but thats my view on it
I mean who looks at the screen while playing pinball ? I like the complex nature of a dot matrix and how they work to get the image on the screen. Nice and bright also and can be seen at any angle while an lcd looks milky when viewed from the side and its a pet hate of mine

Paid for mine in full today with Zax in Melbourne... im told i was the first one in line for the first lot arriving as i put in the order last year when the rumors about this one surfaced ...now the wait begins ...
