I really like those blades. I'm loving the pink/purple hues involved in all the artwork. I want to match that color for some powder coating as green obviously won't work on my Premium. Nice work Zombie Yeti and Stern for a quality add-on.

I'm very satisfied with how this machine has progressed so far. It will be equally satisfying checking in on this thread every day as most of the speculation (and negativity) should be put to rest. It has been a crazy 11K post ride in here and it's nice to see what looks to be a happy ending! Good job Stern Pinball.
I have no problem with the center post if it offers a player a better overall experience. Bought the kit from Pinball Life and will throw it on my Premium when it arrives if the machine seems too brutal. I'm trying to get my kids and friends more and more into pinball and my fear is that if GB is a drain monster they will be quick to dismiss the machine. I host alot of pinball nights here and none of my buddies are professional pinball players so that post shouldn't make the game any less fun.
That said I can certainly understand where the purist and/or competitive player would be against adding the post but that's the beauty of owning your machine as you can customize to your liking without having to worry what others think. I dont understand the argument about this center post as neither side is wrong because its a matter of personal preference. Just don't brag about any high scores unless you disclose your center post addition! It's pinball...just have fun.
I've read several people offering the same feedback on the reverse flippers. I would assume it will be addressed in a future code update or maybe a menu setting that prevents the flippers from reversing when the captive ball is hit would work?
Quoted from bobloblaw:Was told today that my premium has shipped, anyone else gotten theirs yet?
Wow...really? Can I ask who your distributor is? That's great news...thanks for sharing.
Quoted from bigd1979:Maybe not great news if the issues are not fixed..,
I'm a "glass half full" kind of guy.
If anyone creates a plastic airball protector and is looking for artwork printing for the plastic I would be happy to help out on the printing end.
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:I believe that Pingragfix will have a product
out shortly, if you wish yo reach him on graphics
Thanks. I imagine Pingrafix probably does printing in-house.
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:Yes it would be perhaps more transparent or ghostly.
Ill print one on paper and see if it blocks thew view, which is a concern, before
I would do a proto.
I have chaser strips, or 45 degree strips, that might work behind it...dont know, just thinking out loud.
Thanks for your feedback!
You can also try printing it on clear vinyl as anything that is white in the image would be transparent on the clear vinyl and it would easily adhere to your plastic. If doing a reverse print on clear vinyl you could adhere it behind the plastic and it would display correctly. I can send you some prototype samples of each if you want to give it a try versus doing flatbed printing directly on the lexan.
Quoted from flynnibus:The material looks good! Like the clarity. But I don't know why people want to draw attention to their ramp airball plastics. Its better if that piece just 'disappeared' in the view IMO.
Interesting point. Didn't even think of that. I guess by dressing it up a bit it may seem like less of a preventative measure and more like intentional artwork added to the playfield? I'll be curious to see what it looks like when my Premium gets here.
I use a removable and nonremovable clear vinyl by Orafol (Oracal) which prints perfectly but I have a commercial grade Roland printer.
I like using the removable vinyl for prototypes and samples as it's easy to reposition or replace without ruining the decal or mucking up the substrate. The other advantage to removable vinyl is that if at some point you don't want the design on the plastic or prefer something else it very easily peels away with no issue.
If anyone would like to try it let me know and I'll print your artwork for your plastic for free if you dont mind covering the shipping. I'd like to feedback and ideas for this vinyl as well. It will also be contour cut so no trimming on your end. Just peel and stick (remove and reapply if nesessary).
Quoted from Concretehardt:Any one have any good custom instruction cards for GBLE?
Did you get your LE finally? If not...any update for you?
Quoted from PW79:GB2 was a shit movie & Trent is the biggest F'n distro to ever walk the earth.
Anyone strongly disagree? Anyone butt-hurt OK?
This post may have benefited from this...
Quoted from flynnibus:so you want them to just remove the mode? The flipper gimmick is the mode.. This is like asking for Destroy The Ring to not require shooting the ring!
If you don't like it.. don't play the mode. If you want the payoff of the mode... play by the mode's rules.
No need to remove the mode but a simple settings option to "disable reverse flipper mode" seems easy enough to make everyone happy.
