Quoted from Grizlyrig:If someone made ghostbusters like the one from farsight studios that I have from google store, I would put a deposit on it right now.
A reskinned Haunted House?

Quoted from MustangPaul:But wouldn't the game need a computer in it tied into the code and gameplay like WOS to show the video? Your talkin major $$$$ then.
Not sure of the limitations of Spike but I'm sure you could manage with the power of an Android-based computer or something like the Raspberry Pi. Not major dollars.
Quoted from catboxer:Wasn't the plot for GB3 used for the 2007 video game? The gameplay was OK but it being GB made it fun and worth playing.
No. GB3 would have involved the Ghostbusters going to hell.
The videogame script was written first by those making the game, and then Aykroyd and Ramis went over it to make it sound more like Ghostbusters by adding in their jargon.
Quoted from Nelly:Com on man, I would expect you to understand this more than most. Hi res animations are a whole other beast and a lot more difficult than dots. This will most certainly add cost to the game. You're not just slapping video clips up there, you are now developing hi res animations for everything else. Much more time consuming.
who said it will be high resolution?
Quoted from Rarehero:Why? Why is some other song on a loop better than THE Ghostbusters song on a loop? The GB song is perfect for the "neutral" gameplay when you launch the ball. Other tunes can kick in when modes are started (like every other game ever)
I was working on music loops for a custom Ghostbuster game that has no need to be made now. I can't disagree with you more. I spent a lot of time finding snippets of decent music from the Ghostbusters films that wouldn't have repetitive lyrics. For "Main" game music, I worked with Elmer Bernstein's score - lots of good "background" music to use there. I also worked loops of other bits of music from both films that from the two films that worked well and mostly excised the vocals.
Ray Parker Jr's song - it works well for something like multiball, but not something I'd want to hear on repeat. I also cut most of the sung parts out. It's an ear worm song.
Quoted from flynnibus:After watching BOP 2.0 more... I can't imagine how anyone can discount the impact of Display and Media on games. When you have such a direct A vs B comparison.. its so shocking. And the creativity really puts even new releases to shame. I'm not saying its the best game, but it should be a real eye opener to people.
We've got 2.0 on location here. When I play, I prefer to switch it to the Williams version. Different things interest different people.
Quoted from Captain_Kirk:The new teaser has more down-votes on YouTube than up-votes. Not an easy thing to do.
And yet some Pinsiders down-vote my criticism of this reboot. Go figure.
Maybe it's downvoted because it's a trailer for a trailer. Maybe you're downvoted for talking about something without having seen anything but a few photos and a teaser for a teaser.
Quoted from Captain_Kirk:Maybe they downvoted because they don't want want this reboot. Maybe my opinion is more widespread than you are comprehending.
If that's the case, then Sony wasted a lot of money and that's their problem, not yours.
Why is the "Containment Unit" called the "Storage Facility?"
I feel like such a nerd typing that out.
Quoted from MustangPaul:Cool, how many games does he have.
Ghostbusters and Congo.
Quoted from AtTheArcade:He was in Congo too. Pretty cool that he has two games that correspond to movies he's acted in.
That's not a coincidence, it was part of his payment for doing callouts.
