Quoted from OLDPINGUY:

Today, I had the house to myself, and started in....First up, I had a switch to adjust.
Easy.
A couple Mods to install. The mirror mod for the lanes on top is fun, and works with the theme.
I used double sided tape instead of the instructions calling for cables disconnected and a more complex method included.
Added the slime green out lanes, Green Bands, and yes, the top side save post to keep the family interested in playing with me.

Looks awesome! Where did you get the slime green outlanes and bands?

Quoted from OLDPINGUY:

Pinball Life for the Outlanes, and the Mirror, Flipper toppers, and more from Laseriffic.
The You have been slimed mode, is an all Green mode, that catches you by surprise, strictly in the light show....very cool!

With the PBL site back up today I've been looking over GB parts but can't find the slime green outlanes. Do you happen to have a link for 'em?

Quoted from Air_Pinball:

Yeah, that's a link to the same company I was talking about.
I was asking if a Stateside Pinball shop had any in stock.

What does the part do?

Quoted from kpg:

Dude - I have to make a video of it, surprised not many comment on this- it's so wobbly and flimsy it kind of bothers me.

If it's too light, is there room to add weight plates on the bottom inside of the cabinet, say 50 to 100 lbs, or would the cabinet not support it? Serious question. I have one on pre-order and would consider doing it if it moves too much when you bump it.

Quoted from kpg:

Just put a second ball in there- looks like it works no problem.

Am I understanding right, when you add a ball to fix this, there should be two balls in the captive lane, in addition to the Newton ball (three balls including Newton ball)?

Quoted from golfingdad1:

Yes .
Works great .

Cool. I think I'm going to pick up a second pink ball from Mezel next order.

Maybe the guy with the GOT instruction cards in his GB has your match.

#16523 7 years ago

Those look sweet. Where did you get them?

Quoted from Daniml:

$20 under cab lighting mod from Lowes. Can also be found at Home Depot or Spirit Halloween Stores.

Sweet idea! Looks to be under $17 at Walmart.

And this slimer colored one would go with the LE.

Quoted from MNPinner:

Just received my premium. I have to say thanks to Back Alley Creations for the amazing paint job and Mezel Mods and Coin Taker for the great mods

Where'd you get the GB logo shooter rod? Looks much better than Stern's!

Quoted from brainmegaphone:

If you haven't seen the movie a ton of times... I don't want to know you!

I saw the movie 4 times in the theater as a 10-year old. 10-year-old me couldn't get enough of it. I never saw another movie so many times again until Braveheart.

Looking forward to my premium, should be here in a few weeks!

I'm looking for thoughts on Stern's light bar topper. If you have it, are you happy with it? Do you like how it looks and does it add to game play? Has anyone heard anything about any third-party light bar in the works?

Quoted from Rager170:

Just saw this... I got my Premium a couple weeks ago and love it!!! Id buy the Premium again just to have the magna slings, i love them.
Very happy with the machine. Havent had the ball jump lanes once. Added all of the cliffys, fixed the airball issue by putting foam padding behind those targets, have my autolauncher spring in the mail as that definitely needs to be replaced... Now my only minor annoyance is that I do get airballs off the ramp from time to time but the ball always lands in teh back left corner and it rolls out. Plastic will break eventually but at least you cant see it.
Anyone have a fix for that?

Which is the right autolaunch spring and where did you order it? Thanks.

#17669 7 years ago

Thanks. Did you use the one referred to as the heavier spring or the finer gauge one with 10 coils?

Quoted from Butch2099:

There is a remote control power strip that someone makes that is awesome. I couldn't begin to tell you how much it costs or where to get it because I bought mine used and it came with the game. Basically a key fob that I just put on the key ring.

Another possible solution is one of those remote control outlet plugs like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013F9JJ72/

I have some for lamps and old radios and they work great. Just leave the pin switch in the on position and use the remote.
