Since Stern is selling blades I hope they left a bigger gap on the playfield sides. STLE had zero play for adding blades.

Quoted from pinmister:hands to spread the machine apart while I move the playfield to avoid scratching. It has become a two person job.
I was starting to think Stern did this on purpose to kill the mods market for side-rails. Now they are making their own, go figure.
That flipper gap sure looks large in the multi ball video. Any chance a 3d printer person could make longer flipper bats? Would be better than drilling a center post.
Quoted from Griffin:My topper arrived for my LE
How are you going to bolt that down? Looks heavy.
Quoted from GAP:I added black super band grommet rubber to the outer metal lane guides, cutting down the high amount of left and right drains.
Where did you get those?
Quoted from Roostking:My bad!!!
Quoted from someoneelse:Not necessarily - you could use something like this where the center post is attached to the plastic rather than the PF:

I like, now someone in the US needs to step up and offer this.
Quoted from Bing_Party:If you order from your disti they should install them for free. At least mine is.
And give them the joy of opening a NIB game????????
Quoted from kimzone:i would buy laseriffic topper look awesome
Are they going to offer this on their website at some point?
Quoted from Manimal:GBLE cabinets stacked and ready to start down the line. My guess is they will start rolling next week.
Enough about the LE's, come on, get the Premiums cranking out now.
Quoted from helicomatic:For anyone who feels the game is too difficult, maybe try to find one set up like this one. That's a big plastic bracket that mounts to the slings to provide a center kit
Pinball life has it for people in the US
Quoted from jrockne:I guess the people that need to figure this out is Stern, and I hope for everyone they do find a solution. Without knowing their whole process it's just speculation.
I'm sure they are taking this issue serious and hopefully do whatever they can to limit or eliminate it.
You would think so but the shear number of failures makes me think they are just clearing inventory and we won't see a fix until all the bad playfields are used up. Not sure I'm buying the cure date theory. Considering how long stern has been doing this all of a sudden they start rushing and don't wait for the cure time? Doesn't seem they would make that mistake.
Quoted from Bing_Party:Somone had some drinks at lunch and then tried to drill holes in that playfield.
You've found the ghosting fix!!!!! Two strategic holes in the playfield and no more ghosting inserts!
Quoted from Mitch:so he doesn't rub on the black metal captive ball cover.
Whats the long term issue that could occur should it not get raised?
Quoted from Jarbyjibbo:not expecting perfection, but I don't want my clear coat delaminating and breaking off.
You and everyone else. Based on GBLE it's a gamble no matter what position/build date you end up with.
Quoted from Air_Pinball:Oh, Good Lord!
Slow Pinball news day I guess.....
If that means the ghosting problems are resolved, I'll take slow any day.
Quoted from chucksmith:If needed, adjust the plates within the slimer mech so he easily registers in switch test.
Can someone post a photo showing where the starting point is to remove this so I can get to the plates mentioned above? I've only removed the arm to raise it so far.
Quoted from Spelunk71:Agreed, though the word seems to be that more code updates are coming. I'm guessing color DMD may be delayed until the game is more finished?
Sure, that's what they said about Star Trek. Still waiting.
