I'm NOT a fan of ACDC, but a DJ - so I have to say that ACDC is probably the ONLY hard rock band to have so many mainstream hits. People who hate hard rock like and love Shook me all night long, Hells Bells, Back in Black and Thunderstruck. That's 4 HUGE hits that have mainstream appeal (again, very rare for a hard rock band). Among rockers, they have a good 10 more hits. 1 hit band? Not at all. Which is why it was the PERFECT band pin for commercial success. VERY wide audience.
