Have you guys that keep whining about the flipper gap even played the game?
At first it's like damn, but shortly becomes a non issue .

#15252 7 years ago
Quoted from tiesmasc:

Agree but it is such a critical shot that I do think the code should support an alternate means of collecting it... and not only if it never functions but rather maybe assuming that any time slimer is down you'd expect 1 hit per minute... and if you get less than that the alternate means of collecting it are enabled.

I think this would be a big help, Slimer on the machine I've been playing (on location) sometimes only registers occasionally, which makes accessing modes ten times harder.

#15253 7 years ago
Quoted from flynnibus:

Right ramp... It's tight but not impossible by any means. There are plenty of other shots in pinball that are far more impossible to hit on demand.

"far more impossible"? I don't think so

I played about 6 games on location at a movie theatre and the right ramp is a joke. Playing on location, not that big of a deal. HUO, a deal breaker for me.

I liked everything else about the Pro except that. It's not impossible to hit but why would you want to hit it, a brick leads to center drains.

I'm ok with the flipper gap.

I'm excited about my LE coming.

Shots you need that you can't even aim for are not uncommon in pinball

The right ramp is difficult because it's wide to the right and tight... But you have a nice clean shot at it even from a stop. Unlike many cross pf shots that require a blind shot on the fly etc

You need to hit it some of the modes... Spook central for instance.

Shots where a miss = risk of drain? In pinball? Preposterous!

That right ramp was a deal breaker for me too but still awesome game.

Is the right ramp tighter than Twd?

WCS94's Final Draw shot is tougher than the right ramp.

Agreed. The routed game I play, Slimer needs some work! The Ghost target should award Slimer hits. (It may already, if so I haven't noticed it...)

Quoted from forensicd:

Is the right ramp tighter than Twd?

The loop or the ramp? The right ramp on TWD isn't tight at all, just not too easy.

The loop is a bit tighter to hit on TWD.

They are fun shots to hit too. The GB pro right ramp is just not good in any way, it seems like it was just stuck there with no rhyme or reason because Trudeau just had to, to make the pro work.

Overall its seems like a very fun pin so far with only 6 games on it!

I got spook central with that shot, ball just went up the ramp and then rolled back into the saucer. Thrilling!

Anybody ever shoot baskets at a carnival where the ball barely fits through the hoop? Ok, now you get the picture if you haven't played it yet.

I don't get it why the guys who complain gb is too repetitive re: modes feel that way. They seem to keep repeating the same comments over and over and over on this thread, you'd think their demeanour would lend itself to this game.

If people said their GB POV just once, we'd have 30 pages in this thread, instead we have 306.

Yeah, but 40 of those pages were Capt Kirk banging on about how great the Ghostbusters 2 movie was.

After 6 games, I also thought the right ramp was tough. Then I played more games and it became easier.

I am quite certain this will not go over well. Again I can only speak for myself and nothing more. Bought into the hype. Owned for a month and could not wait to get rid of it. Sold after 100 plays. Just not my cup of tea

Yeah that struck me as a little weird too but I understand his meaning. The game isn't for him and he thought by saying it that way his not liking it would not go over good with us that like it. To bad he had to buy it to find out he didn't like it, I hope he didn't take to much of a hit when he sold it.

Is there are a pro video? Don't want to search 80 pages

#15279 7 years ago

Thanks for the videos; is it possible to change the orientation of the camera and then rotate it with software so the playfield is expanded?

#15280 7 years ago
Quoted from billsfanmd:

No, you just want other people to do it for you.

No because the top and bottom of the pf would be cut off by doing that.

Dave & Buster's

I went to one in Dallas a couple weeks ago. Seemed like they were getting their GB promo on.

One thing, I did not understand the Ghostbusters arcade game they were promoting. It seemed like it might have been neat (have great sound, etc) - but then these stupid ping-pong balls are launching at the bottom of the game while you are playing, making a bunch of noise. Totally didn't understand the point of the ping pong balls in that game.

I have mine arriving on Thursday, maybe Friday.

Curly, at Little Shop of Games, is kind enough, to unbox, test, tweak, inspect, play, and install some blades!

I really appreciate this extra effort to ensuring one does not get delivered with any issues.

First Class service, and a shameless Plug! Highest Recommendation!

Great way to start my retirement! HOURS of GhostBusters!!!!
