GBLE has to get a prime location in mancave with full view of side art.

Might put some special overhead lighting as well

I've had this neon sign in my garage/pinball room for months while waiting for my GBLE to arrive

Quoted from Darth_Chris:

It's always amazing to see what might be beautiful to someone is really ugly to someone else.
Personaly I really and honnestly think the Slimer LE is ugly. No bs here even if they made 100 LE I would never allow that into my game room unless I was buying it to flip it asap with a profit.
Thumb me down if you feel like it, it's just my opinion

People who like the LE for its looks are probably more "Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters" fans than fans of the movies.

Like people who like the premium version are more fans of eating marshmallows than the actual movie?

LE rocks!!!!!

#8609 8 years ago

I saw pro cabinets at the factory they are really really nice . I prefer the cab sides and front of the pro, but really like staypuff on the sides of the premium as well as the premium translight. If they would add in some cool ghosts to the front decal of the premium vs those guys in headlights it would be great !

Oh I do much more than just eat my marshmallows Ice but thats for a different forum, I'll be honest I'm not a fan of the full armor which is strange I know but like the traditional style more, also prefer the car to the Slimer but hey thankfully we have the choice.

Truth hurts! Slimer was a minor part of the movies, but a huge part of the cartoon. I can tell where you were Saturday mornings!

Quoted from Ed209:

Arn't you afraid of color fade?

not at all, they would only be on as tied to a flasher or event....considering I average 500 games a year, Im not worried.
On Route, with lots of daily play....you are correct.

I have never seen the cartoon.Only the movies and i have an LE on order..This is my first NIB pin and this is the movie pin i've been waiting for.I was 12 when it was released and that was a great movie back then and still is
Slimer may have had a minor part in the movie but he sure was a cool ghost

I have a set of black mirror blades as reckon it will suit the game nicely

also at a local zing popculture shop they have the 7" slimer bobble type statue (used as my topper but as a size comparison a 11" tall staypuft vinyl plastic money box which could be nicely inside lit to glow - extra cool if linked to the playfield's staypuft when he changes colour.

Have you ever seen the Cartoon?

Quoted from BentleyBear:

Great Jady, I grabbed a couple things too just to see what might work...

The Neon Ghost Busters Sign should look Sweet!

But so far you are in the Lead for me!!

#8621 8 years ago

it's all magic.... Premium cabinet is the best. The art reminds of this part of the movie.

Premium or Pro? That's scene seems more reminiscent of the pro art.

the art on both are so similar there isn't much difference between the 2.

#8624 8 years ago

Def more like the pro, but hey Slimer was in that scene?

#8625 8 years ago

Speaking of Slimer scene. I just saw this, lol.

Also, another cool video about GB2. I wish more of GB2 was implemented in the pin.

Millions of people around the world believe we have been visited in the past by extraterrestrial beings. What if it were true? Did ancient aliens really help to shape our history? And if so, might their be an extraterrestrial connection behind the secrets of the Ghost Busters pinball machine?

Its worse than that. I had lunch with John Titor the time traveler, and he told me about Ghost Busters pins in the future!

Looking forward to my next Melbourne trip, Jady. The Zing pop culture store is at the mall near my relatives' house. I think I'll be buying a few Ghostbusters items this time. hehe

People say GB is Fast and brutal
Those who played it, can you compare it to Acdc

Thanks

It's different in that it does not flow the same as ACDC... It's somewhat brutal because of the larger flipper gap but I do not find it the same as an ACDC... Ball goes to the pops more and returns to the flipper less.

We will need some longer flipper mod ?

Man, I couldn't give a flip less WHICH cabinet I get. As long as I get the features of the LE/Prem, it could have hand-drawn "boo" ghosts with white blankets and black cut-out holes for eyes, and I'd be happy. This game is going to be amazing.

lol - hear are some Viagra Bats longest is the 3 1/8"

all of Trudeau's games are that gap and you get use to it and if anything helps you you switch to other games, don't stress about it?

#8643 8 years ago

No matter which version any of us gets, let's just hope the decals don't peel off!

#8644 8 years ago

well, if i bought the pin i will never do that, but surelly some will think to add a star/backpost there in the middle, down the extra ball insert...
just as they did in the TWD outlanes

You will probably also need to go to the store and pick up some

I have an LE on order. I've read concerns about the magnetic slings. I would hope Stern would have this sorted well before production run. Would it not be similar to the action found on a pin2000 swep1 found near the centre of the playfield?

Sorry if this has been covered in this thread.

I love the artwork but I have a question... I know since there are 2 inlanes on each side, they had to make room by replacing the wood piece on the left side with a metal piece. From the prototypes and the flyer, it looks like they didn't adjust the artwork in that area and it just ends with a lot of wood showing. Any idea if that will be changed on the production runs like the other errors found in the prototypes?

It's a limitation of the printer they said.

#8650 8 years ago

I'm pretty sure someone mentioned that the artwork in the left outlane would be corrected for production...
