MMr to be remade in 2023

is this timeline real? If so,that hurts a lot! Back to the for sale adds ……. Bummer! Really wanted a NIB MMR.
To many things can happen between now and 2023.

    I'd say over a 100.

I count at least 111 Pinball including the Marco display which has multiple units of newer releases

    #105 2 years ago

I finally got to play a bunch of the newer games that have come out since quarantine began.

Led Zeppelin - game just didn't grab me, the pro is pretty empty

Mando - game was fun to play, immediately heard a bill burr line which is one of the things I was hoping for

Guns n roses - this was a pretty fun game, if you are into the music and multiballs, this game ticks all those boxes well

Hot Wheels - the hot wheels theme is very cute and I enjoyed the concept. The playfield could have done with some of the shots removed and widening some others, which in general makes it a little frustrating to play. The GI needs a boost as well.

Ultraman - game was pretty fun I think people that ordered ultraman are going to be very happy. There's some software tweaks they can make to enhance the experience but in general it's a fun game

Halloween - not really a theme for me so I had a hard time getting into the game. The sound track of the game started to wear on me a little. I think ultraman is the better of the two

Trying to decide whether to head out there today. Their preliminary list showed over 150 pins. All the pics I’ve seen show much fewer. Can you tell me is it closer to 150 or like 30 pins available to play? Thanks!

Seeing about 120 on the main floor + a chunk in the tournament area (EDIT: ~17 there).

If you don't mind, I'd like to humble brag for a moment, best in show.

Can anyone take a pic of the Mandalorian entrance ramp posts next to The Carl Weathers plastic. I want to see what new protector Stern uses to prevent the ramp from cracking.
    Thanks.

That’s far less crowded than my average Costco visit. Wish I was there…

I thought the same thing. More games than people? :O

    Quoted from Wolfmarsh:

The sound track of the game started to wear on me a little.

Gee, how long did you play it that the sounds started to wear on you?

    #120 2 years ago

I played Ultraman. It does shoot OK. The code is super basic right now. There was one sound effect that kept going off over and over. There was another Ultraman right next to the one I was playing and that sound effect did get old real quick. It's all I could hear. But not a bad game and could end up being Spooky's best.

Pleasantly surprised with Hot Wheels. Shots were great and all the feeds were right where they should be.

That Gorgar was incredible. Not $3500 incredible but definitely the nicest one I've ever played.

The Whirlwind and Earthshaker were pristine as well.

They were beautiful machines. Thank you for bringing them. My son loved the Whirlwind and played it many times over the weekend. He said he got the high score on it right as the show ended.

    #123 2 years ago

I have been going through my pictures of SFGE and I just want to send a general thanks to the people who put on the show, the volunteers, and even the attendees. Mask wearing was required and in all the pictures, everyone is wearing their masks properly without issue. The sanitation stations were getting used a lot as well.

I felt more safe at SFGE than I did at a movie we went to, that's for sure. Kudos for pulling that off.

I know it was tougher with fewer games in general, but the space between the games was AWESOME for reducing the shoulder to shoulder crowding. I'd be an advocate of keeping that spacing between games and getting the room next to it as well if need be (even if that means cost goes up a little).

Anyone know if the Gorgar sold?

I do not know. But I was there until close at 4pm on Sunday and it was still there with nothing indicating sold.

WW got 463 games and ES had 516 total over the weekend. Thanks to the folks putting it all together, we had a great time.

    #129 2 years ago

I had a fun time in the strikes event Friday and Pingolf Saturday.
Big ups to Mark who did a great job in the tournament area!

Ha! Glad to see my costume-less Freddy made the cut (was luckily able to cradle the ball anytime I was approached that day).

I intended to dress as the tux Freddy from part 3, but forgot my glove in the chaos of loading a game (AMH) for the show, so I just decided to go in plain clothes, and fortunately people got a kick out of it anyway (had one hesistant to approach, thinking I may have been a real burn victim ).

I saw you from behind and from a few yards away and definitely wasn’t sure for a while whether it was a Freddy mask or real. When you turned around I was pretty darn sure it was a mask, but I still had a little bit of doubt.
