My Whirlwind came from Oklahoma. Plus, my wife is from KC originally...so I'm following.

"Cool story, bro. Thanks for sharing*"

Quoted from OzarkKing:

Lake Ozark MO here and affords numerous possibilities to boat to play pinball...

Lots of great memories down that way for me in my youth. Silver Dollar City, water skiing, Yakov Smirnoff.

Ok, two out of three!

Hope everyone on this thread is ok with all the recent storm activity.

Sending good thoughts from Southern California.

My in-laws are from KC, and my Mother-in-law passed along this piece from KCUR today:

I'd guess that a bunch of you know her. Cool story.

Hey Kansas City folks! My Brother-in-law is looking for his first machine, a Mandalorian Premium. My distributor has them in stock, but I was wondering if you all have any local distro recommendations? Since it's his first and I'm halfway across the country, I'm trying to see if there's any handholding options?

Or...maybe a local repair person that could help him set it up if I get it shipped from further away??

Thanks in advance!!

Quoted from jdoz2:

For a local repair person I’d recommend Nick Greenup or Keri Wing. Should be able to get ahold of both of them through Solid State Pinball supply in KC.

Great tips! Thank you.

Speaking of Nick and Keri, my MIL (who lives in KC) sent me this from KCUR over Thanksgiving:

Very cool when pinball makes it into the popular consciousness. This is the second piece she's shared with me about pinball in Kansas City. Keep up the good work everyone!!
