Been watching Hot Wheels City on youtube with my son in quarantine, and I gotta say, this game is super tempting. The show is good clean fun. Bright, simple, action-packed, throwback stop-motion animation, and just the right amount of cheesy. Great source material for a pin, especially considering the monster battles. Like most rambunctious little boys, my son loves cars, dinosaurs, giant alligators, etc. Shaping up to be a great family game.

Recreational is legal in Illinois. Rosh has everything he needs.

Quoted from LTG:

They did post their new address on Facebook. The new building.

So maybe a future Expo or something we'll get a tour.

It's nice. The lobby and offices are too clean to be a pinball factory! Need a bunch of us grubby heathens to roll through and track some dirt in.

Quoted from majicman110:

A) Aren't your kids the ones that are actually spending the most time playing your pinball machines?

Uh, no. This is not a kid-centric hobby for me. I've played/collected for 20+ years and only the last 2.5 years involved a kid. It's 100% my thing.

Quoted from majicman110:

B) if hot wheels is a kid theme, can we all agree that so are tmnt, dead pool, spider man, jetsons, batman, wonka, and ghostbusters? I just feel like 25% of pinball has always been themes for little kids.

Sure. We are all giant man-children. Drawing the line at calling Hot Wheels a kid theme, but not the others, is ridiculous.

Quoted from Looprunner:

Unfortunately, it's a terrible time for me on Saturday so I'll have to watch The replay.

Yeah, weekends are bad for me too. At least on weekday afternoons I'm already parked at a desk. Replay it is!

Yeah, it was fun! Now I want to see someone who's actually good blow it up.

Why would they ever stop selling the coolest thing in the world?

Quoted from Captainhook:

Then they showed the animation's, they look like they were made for a 6 year old. I'm out! I'll wait for JAW'S!!!

Jaw's what?

Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:

I don’t know if I can tolerate sodtware where the same player car (1 of 4) is used each game.

Jesus.

Quoted from Shapeshifter:

My main worry is are the shots too tight?

Not at all. I played Hot Wheels for an hour; only shot I had trouble with was the little kickback lane for super jackpot, which I believe is tight because it's so valuable. All of the main ramp/orbit shots are easy-ish to make & satisfying.

Quoted from jeffgoldstein2:

If it was a more adult theme like Fast and the Furious i would purchasing one.

Have you ever seen one of those movies.

Quoted from Roostking:

What are owners thoughts regarding the off center display.

Not an owner, but I've played it and it's a non-factor when playing. It could only bother anal retentive collectors who want everything symmetrical just because. I say, variety is the spice of life. It's actually an advantage art-wise.

Also: what Ferret said. At five feet away from my face, three inches off-center is nothing.
