Did you see the one he just sanded down? It has inserts decals still. I started to remove some of mine to redecal but the hardtop came up.
Quoted from Skypilot:Yeah here’s a tip. Most of the time I’m doing a prototype hardtop for Bruce. That usually means I stripped my playfields down to nothing. For those of you that are doing a conventional install this would be a really easy trick to keep all your mechanicals underneath from getting damaged I’m getting the playfield out the cabinet.

I was thinking about something similar last night using all tread and then BOOM! You deliver!
Yes I’m not planning to totally strip the bottom. But need support to sand the Playfield.
Quoted from Skypilot:And you’re probably going to pass me out.

I don’t think so! Lol. That’s amazing! My next one will more than likely be a silverball.
The f-14 is a bear to tear down. If I’m lucky I’ll have it ready to sand today!
Quoted from Skypilot:Installed and can’t wait to finish it. I don’t lose sleep over things like that.

Looks very nice!!! So how are you going to shim the center eject? I’m thinking about just cutting a couple old business cards down and get some longer screws?
So I am working on a game for a client and it has a hardtop that from what I understand was part of a bad batch. Outside Edge provided a new hardtop for my client, and my job is to install it. I have installed a few of them at this point, but I have never removed one. Any tips or tricks I should know about?
