Quoted from Mathazar:Eight Ball Deluxe hardtop owners....do you have these two holes in your hardtop and playfield? These holes are not in my playfield, wondering if this is a hardtop mistake or if my playfield (1984 "Classic" edition) is different than the 1981 original that was used to make the prototype hardtop.[quoted image]
Not sure why they are there but there is nothing that you can do at this point. At least the ball won't hit them. If they really bother you, fill them in with something black to hide them a little. On the hardtops website, you can just barely see indents in these two spots, but they are still filled. Maybe they popped out and are still in the shipping packaging and you could pop them back in?
Quoted from John_I:Jungle Lord?
Glad to see the Jungle Lord hardtop done!! I ordered one and have already received it. This is my first Hardtop. Now it's time to study the installation process and set aside the time to install it and get the game up and running.
I have seen a few Hardtops in person and they look amazing! Can't wait to see the Jungle Lord with one!
Quoted from alexmogil:Can you post a picture of the hardtop perhaps?
Quoted from vid1900:^ Arggggg, the flesh skulls!
Not sure what you are talking about? Fortunately it all looks great to me compared to my original playfield. As long as it's not a huge cock like the LOTR LE backglass, I'm fine.
Quoted from Charles_Kline:post number 2038
OK well that is something that doesn't bother me at all fortunately. To me there is still contrast to the skin color and the skulls look more like actual bone color now and don't bend in so much. I also could care less about matching the original or I would not have bought this in the first place because the sky is yellow on my original upper playfield (red cabinet).
Now what really bothers me about this game are the two plastics that have no artwork. They look like they were just place holders for the shape and they ran out of time or budget to put art on them? I did a little Photoshop work and it would be nice if someone could produce these or something like it in high quality:

I was surprised by Jungle Lord (in a good way). I don't see too many Catacombs around but the price on them probably just went up!
