I guess it's too much to ask for a pin with GoT layout and TH art (quality). :/

Quoted from RavenBlackthorn:That's a good call. I went back and rewatched after you pointed that out. Clear plastic with decals on either side??
It's hard to say, but if you pause the video right when it first shows the playfield, it looks to me like a double-sided decal sandwiched between two pieces of clear plex. Looks okay from that angle, but from the next angle you see the edge and it just looks like clear plex with a seam.
Quoted from RavenBlackthorn:Yup. I think you might be right. What's your thoughts on this approach rather than a sculpt? Do you think it contributes to the lightshow somehow?
I'd rather have something with some texture to it, but I'm sure this is far cheaper to make. Can't fully judge it until seen in person, of course. My guess is it will probably be "okay". My tentative plan is to buy a premium, pending reveal, and hope some great mods are made for it.
Quoted from InfiniteLives:this is the problem tho, having to buy a game called a "Premium" and then have to buy mods to make it actually feel/look/be a Premium machine
No argument from me on that.
Quoted from Jean-Luc-Picard:soo... Playfield updated. The shield is now made out of chainmail. When have you EVER seen a shield made out of chainmail? Never... Because, you do not make shields out of CHAINMAIL! So other than a shield, that now just uses a flat "pattern overlay" layer style and replaced the brown with blue. Nothing has changed, this is still ugly!
It was never a shield, though. It was just a background that had a vaguely shield shape to it. No shield edging, for example. So in the end, it was just a change of a silver gradient background to a chainmail background.
