I have one coming soon. Is it possible to move it with a regular harbor lift, and just use something to support the angled area?
If not, does anyone have an easy solution to moving it.
thanks

I cant get the ball to make it up the ramp on the plung for the skill shot. Its weak, and usually ends up around the standup targets. Right now its a very tight spring (red), which I will try switching, but I am wondering if its likely a misaligned housing? ( more of an off center hit on the ball) I have read there have been a few others with a similar issue, you have a solution please let me know.
Quoted from koji:Have some photos? Sounds like the ball might not be positioned well in the shooter lane as you have stated... Shooter rod otherwise in good shape?
Quoted from Tallon:the game came with extra plates to keep the playfield level. most were never installed and got lost. i have noticed the plunger on every game i have had didnt hit the ball centered and often soft plunged into the bottom of the ramp
Did you find a fix?
I will get some pics when I get back to it.
On a side note I blew a fuse. It says check fuse 1 , which makes sense since I lost power to the sol. But that fuse on the power board is good. Can it be one of the under the playfield fuses?
Lights and sounds all work..
Quoted from koji:Also check the shooter lane guide that the ball takes. Make sure there is no play on this and see if you can adjust the angle at all.. On mine a half plunge is about right for a skill shot.. Any more will go around the top ramp and come out the other end.
Thanks for the photo. If only I can get mine to play like your videos…
If certainly looks like it sits further up. This helps me visualize what I am looking for.
Making progress...have a strange one
When I have the glass off and a game started, I can hear, and see, a slight pulse in the coil that controls the right teleport. About every 10 sec I hear a pulse and can see the capture target move slightly. ( I have the plastic off)
Possible bad diode on coil? or switch..
Saw the movie last night, we really enjoyed it. Won’t change your life perspective but it’s fun.
The theme song by tame impala is great
I think I might be missing a starpost?... It doesnt look like the ball is supposed to get back there. It was trapped near the flasher...
Quoted from Morgoth00:I believe this rubber should block it from going over there at all unless your left pop isn't working and it is squeezing past the pop
[quoted image]
Thanks somehow I did miss a star post...
I ended up bending the angle of the two metal arms that go into the receiver. That changed my playfield angle for the shooter rod..I can not see what yours are like, but worth a look.
Quoted from piccolohl:do you mean the metal piece the ball is resting on that attaches to the playfield? yeah it seems like the ball isnt resting centered to that so ill get to bending
edit oh probably mean the arms that go into the cab where the lockdown bar is? guess that would make sense too
yes.. sorry for the poor details. But the two arms/hooks that fit into the receiver slots. I believe it then allowed shooter rod to hit the ball with more force.
Quoted from piccolohl:ah ok i dont have those
I dont think I have those either. May have to track them down.
I hate to say it, but the bally 6803 has been the one system where the whole thing feels flimsy compared to other games. Maybe its just mine, but its just not a solid build. But I guess it is 30+ years
Quoted from EZ-Rhino:I'm certainly no 6803 expert but wasn't Bally, by that point, really cutting corners and cost saving wherever possible? I always thought that's partially why there's little love for the 6803 line in general (with a few exceptions...).
I am pretty certain you are right. I just had never worked on 6803 prior to d&d. I had heard about the lower build quality, but was surprised how different they t actually felt.
Quoted from Nihonmasa:Hi guys,
I finally got a D&D !
I have an issue which I can't solve: the ball is not "loading" in the left teleport assy.
It gets inside, assy drops and then it's spit out instantly.
When in test the switches seem to react as they should.
Any idea?
If in test mode you put a ball into the teleport, mKe it drop, once down does it still register the switch?
