Quoted from Ericpinballfan:

Sorry for your loss. Don't think a downvote was necessary , but oh well. I'll take high road and not do the same to you. Like I said, just my opinion. I wont go into details about seeing and playing them that day at auction. I really don't think any EM is worth more than $1k, just don't. Value and bang for your buck can yield 2-3 nice DMD's at this price for 5. Or one A-list game.
Brings me back to original question, who and why does any dealer flipper feel an Em is worth this much?.

Ummm because that's what they regularly sell for? I rarely price police either but there are a bunch of EM's that regularly sell for over $1K, so I think you're a bit out of touch there. Sounds like you value the play of SS and more modern games over earlier classics and that's fine, but just be aware that there are other guys out there that feel the opposite. To take your analogy and twist it, they're looking at the price for a modern A list game and thinking "Wow...I can get 5 Classic EM's for that....". I know nothing about the condition of the OP's games, but at least 3 of the 5 titles there regularly sell for $1K+ in "average" condition. If they are truly totally restored, the asking price may not be that far off. Personally I think the OP would be better off selling them individually rather than trying a group sale. Bulk only sales always significantly reduce your market. (Full disclosure, I own both Central Park and Buckaroo titles....)

Sorry, back to the buying and selling.....
