Still looking for a JP in So. Cal!

Too bad this thread didn't come up sooner. Twinmice (Mike) just sold his last week.

Might be interested in a cheap Gilligan if anyone has one locally.

Quoted from Aurich:

If a Mati Hari comes up in SoCal I might not be able to resist it just to stick my Silver Bullet backglass in it and pretend.

I don't think you can do that. I believe they moved the score displays on Silver Bullet to better accommodate the artwork.

But I'd love to do the same thing. I really wish Silver Bullet was a kit conversion...

Should i get another Roadshow or Gofers???

Speaking of pot and kettle...

But if you really want an answer. it's NO on both.

Where in the ad does it say WCS? It *could* be a '78 Williams World Cup since it only says "worldcup pinball - $2400" in the ad.

I would *think* that it would be a WCS for the price, but you never know on CL.

I have a Stern LED Run DMD clock kit as received from j_m. Brand new unopened kit including Run DMD Edge board with latest firmware and all acrylic. You supply the LED DMD (Stern or Xpin)
$300 - available for pickup in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area. I can also ship.

Added over 5 years ago: This is tentatively sold.

$1500-$2000 for a decent SS is a good budget. Keep looking and you will find something. That Motordome for $900 would be a good start. IMO, 95% of SS games shouldn't be over $2K, but that's the market at the moment.

Looking to sell my Kiss Pro. Unboxed it about 2 months ago. Perfect condition. Bone stock aside from custom software with live versions of all songs and a few song substitutions. Can put back to original if desired. Asking $4700. Located in Hollywood.

I also have a custom dual moving lights topper that is available for $400 additional. Really adds to the rock concert experience. I can use it on another game if buyer is not interested.

HD video of machine/topper here -

Quoted from Ericpinballfan:

Banning will be first up in March. Go to club 82 in LA, 20 pins on location. See what you like.

Agreed, especially about going to the Banning show and playing as many games as you can. See what you like then buy something you can afford.

Don't buy a game just because it's cheap. Make sure you LIKE it first.

A couple of pictures here - https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/gottlieb-jungle-stays-in-game-over#post-2806343

PM doomid for his plans on getting AS. I'd love to play one too!

Not a pin, but I have a really nice fully working Valley Cougar IQ Dart machine, with darts. It's currently on Ebay - ebay.com link: ebay.com
Asking $750 for a local pickup.

To keep it pin related, I have a friend looking for a player's condition pin, possibly pool-themed. I'm thinking Breakshot or Cue Ball Wizard. EBD would be too old school for him. Interested in discussing any sub-$2k titles.

Quoted from StrangeSubset1:

Geeeee. I am following Captn Auction. Those prices are crazy. Might look ok just on the sales price, but once you add 18% commission AND sales tax on top..

They actually went to 15% online commission for these auctions. But still, add about 23% to any hammer price.

The CCC that hammered at $10k was about $12,300 out the door!

#9426 1 year ago
Quoted from StrangeSubset1:

Actually was only going to bid to 150, but when I thought I pressed the bid 100 button, it switched in the same moment to 200...oh well. Little damage compared to what it could have been on some of those pins.

I bid very early on a low ticket item just to see how bidding would work. Had the same thing happen to me where the bid amount of the button went up *just* as I was pressing it. Luckily I was quickly outbid but that's definitely a problem with how they've got their online bidding system set up.
