Not sure if this will take off or work but I thought I would give it a shot. Yes California is big and there is an official SoCal and NorCal club but nothing that brings both markets together and in one place. So if you would like to use this thread and mark it as a favorite making it easier to keep up on we might all be more "in the know". This could also be useful if someone is traveling from south to north or visa versa and can transport for another Pinsider. Just my .02 and helpful idea.

I personally at the moment am looking for some earlier pins up through system 11. If anyone has something family friendly please let me know. Thanx.

Quoted from o-din:

This thread is a good idea. Thanks!

Your welcome and thank you. I know there is a market place and one could filter the FS ads but I just thought this would be nice and more convenient.

Quoted from Aurich:

o-din is gonna convert that TRON LE into 15 EMs.

Probably more like 32 EM's

Quoted from Aurich:

but I dunno, California is so huge, even if someone in The Bay offered me a deal I don't think I could hack that drive to get it.

Maybe not but what if I or someone else was headed up north and could pick it up? That's all I saying, just trying to broaden our reach and information highway.

Quoted from BenetBoy78:

Great idea. Why not include folks from Phoenix?

Come on in. Only about 8 hours from me and I also have a brother in Phoenix. Can you post a few pics of the Pistol Poker and Dragonette here? Thanx.

Quoted from o-din:

No, truth be told, recently I have maxed out my space and minimized my funds. And I just can't let any of my older machines go.

This often seems to be a common occurance around here. I totally understand, if my funds would allow it I would take that machine off your hands, buuuttt...well, you know

Speaking of which I guess I could list this thing here if anyone is interested.

I'd say pro playes faster and overall (just my opinion) plays a bit better. Please all LE owners I'm not trying to start anything or frustrate anyone it's just my opinion.

Love the "9+ playfield" with flipper wear and the incorrect Bally flipper bats installed

I was going to say that if he/she has been working on Pins since 75 then it should be an easy catch that those are Bally flippers and not Williams Didn't you know that pf wear caused by the flippers adds...$1500 to the worth of a machine.

Quoted from Aurich:

How bad do you want it?

I had made that statement cause there was one in Fresno for sale and now its gone.

#275 5 years ago

Gio, you do some AMAZING work!!!

Huh, that's interesting...an attack from a newb and a thumbs down from RobT. I guess opinions and then good lucks aren't allowed anymore here...
oh BTW: Gottlieb NEVER EVER used those lazy things.

#609 4 years ago
Quoted from NimblePin:

Mostly I was just giving jww15 $#!t (jokingly) for passing on a game simply because it had post rubbers instead of the speed nuts...

I had to go back and look at my post to make sure I didn't word something wrong. I didn't pass on the Pin because of the rubber nuts...hell I have two myself...I stated I had the Encore version which is nearly the same and the game play was fun. My personal opinion is I like the metal speed nuts, I think they look better, and with a piece of paper jammed in the bottom of a socket they are easy to install.
And for what it's worth the only reason I pass on anything Mike is selling is because he lives so damn far away! Mike is a nice guy and I don't hold anything against him. He is actually one of the few Pinsiders I have met and has been to my house. He sells a lot of Pins I would be interested in and he prices are almost always better than fair. That is all, thank you and carry on...

Need to make some room:

65 Moulin Rouge asking $500, you can see old pics at this address
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/fs-65-em-moulin-rouge-socal#post-1750827

Or I can post new ones since it has been set up for a while now.

67 Beat Time asking $600. Did my half-a$$ shop job thorough wipe down with replaced bad lights, rubbers and ball. Some flaking on cab and BG between the score reels is worst.

76 Sound Stage asking $600. Will play great as soon as I put the bonus unit back in. Pulled it cause it was nasty dirty and moved too slow. Cab is very nice, pf pretty good, and BG has some minor flaking.

91 Slugfest asking $1400. Plays great and looks nice. Has card dispenser, new bleacher plastic and crack about 10" in middle of pf.

OT: 97 Rush the Rock Alcatraz Edition sit down asking $400. Plays great, only negative is monitor is a little dark and "blue ?" and is stretched out a bit.

OT: DBL Cherry 2 coin IGT Slot with stand asking $1000.

I can post or send pictures of what there is interest in. I am open to trades especially if I am giving up more for less as I need some room. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions. Thanx in advance.

This is just my .02 but I think it is a good idea to update your lists, either for sale or wtb, once every couple of weeks or every week. I think it would just make it easier for everyone not having to scroll every page and then ask if still for sale.

Looking to move 2 Pins:
76 Chicago Coin Sound stage. Pretty good shape, plays great, but doesn't always reset correctly when you start a new game. PF was tore down, cleaned and shopped.
65 Williams Moulin Rouge. Also good shape and plays good. The thousand wheel is sometimes a little sluggish, a passive bumper cap has trouble staying on and the bg is better than ok but not great. I can post pics if anyone is interested.
Since both are not 100% I'm selling as working projects and asking $500 each or also open to trades. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns, thanx

Just something to keep in the back of your mind, I will be going to San Diego the week of October 12th. I usually rent a car to drive down but if someone could use help taking a Pin down or bringing some back I will drive my truck. I have one for sure that would be on the drive down. Quoted from Jean-Luc-Picard:

He KNOWS what is wrong with a pin. Anyone that sells a pin knowing it has a dead skunk inside it and you did not notice for any reason in the photos. Is a bad seller. Sorry, wont say names.

Sorry to hear that J-L-P. I am surprised to say the least. I remember a while back "HE" was at the root of another sell gone bad. I actually defended him because my 2 experiences with him were positive. He seemed like a nice and straight guy. I hate to hear about this stuff. Regardless of where we are in the grand "monetary scale" scheme of things no one wants to be be taken advantage of. It also surprises me that 'his' account is deactivated. I guess looking back on one of the deals maybe he wasn't looking out for me but his own pocket.
Anywho, any kind of transaction that deals with distance is tough. I guess because I try to be as honest as possible I assume others here do the same. I know that is the wrong approach but I want to think yall are all very nice and honest.
Yes, that does bite me sometimes. Not too long ago I received a Pin with some distance involved and it had a lot more problems than I was told about. I was kind of upset at first but I guess at least I can fix other people's (that is now mine) sh1t.
There does seem to be some bad apples here and I think we could all tell a story and give others the virtual finger, but I also have to stop and think about all of the wonderful people I have met here and new friendships that have been created. Bottom line is I know there is at least a dozen places I can travel and meet up with super Pinsiders...when they are not out of town, yeah I'm lookin at you PDX .

He's pretty funny but I wouldn't go as far to call him a clown. I've bought many games from him and never had a complaint.

It's good to know he's at least honest with his "friends"... But if the shoe fits be careful when it comes flying off. I know at least 6 people on Pinside alone whom have been screwed by his NOT honesty. He is the pure definition of rag and tag flipper.
Yes I know who his associates are, I know he helps you know who sell his games cause he doesn't like social media but that doesn't do anything for me. Misrepresentation is exactly what it is. We don't have to make up some stupid excuse to try and cover his antics. He misleads and misguides people all the time. It's not once or twice, but all the time. I'm glad you have worked with him on several occasions, at least you are getting it straight.

#3328 3 years ago
Quoted from Reality_Studio:

I dunno, maybe I'm lucky but then I again I've noticed it's customary on Pinside to crap on people that sell games beyond a certain price point.

Exactly. The only reviewer that I trust is myself.

Hey that is cool, we trust the same person. Myself is a great person...deserves a lot of respect too!

Will be listing a Stern Trident and maybe a Police Force. The Trident just had a fresh tear down and shop. Lots of new parts and pieces. Playfield has some planking, match and player 4 display are gassing, BG is flaking but has been mostly covered in tape, CPU bulletproofed and the cab is really nice. Any questions let me know. Interested in trades (mostly looking for arcades) or cash. I will list in the marketplace shortly. Thanx in advance.

Just in case anyone was wondering...Ned is a top shelf dude. I would deal with him without hesitation.

onami Track & Field (aka Hyper Olympic) 4-Player Cocktail Arcade in original, dedicated cabinet. Excellent condition inside and out. Clean boards, harnesses and connectors. Recently serviced by myself and my tech. Nice picture. Working 100% Fairly rare and very sought after by arcade collectors.

I wish I could figure out a place to put this. Cocktails are a difficult fit sometimes. GLWTS

Not the plan but something has come up and I need to move 1 if not 2 Pins. I thought I would let the locals know first. Nascar 100% working, clean with powder coated apron and habitrails 2500, RBION just torn down and shopped with cliffs and LEDs 3500, Popeye works 100% with great colors 2300, or a RCT that plays great but needs shopped 2700. I can send pics if you are interested. Thanx in advance.

Going to list a nice Comet. Haven't done much troubleshooting but it randomly turns off sometimes. Last night I left it running for hours and played a few games here and there to see what would happen. When the game did die I would flip the power and it would come right back on and play. Anywho, like I said its going in the market will be asking 1k.

I have a project 78' Gottlieb Sinbad FS. It tries to power up. Has battery corrosion. I had to drill the head lock. A1J6 connection needs rebuilt. Backglass is rough. Of course needs cleaning and a shop job. On the flip side, the pf is pretty good, no wear. $500. Further info, pics, etc let me know. Thanx in advance

I don't remember ever seeing pix in this thread.

We used to be able to post pics here, FS and For fun. When they changed the Marketplace rules they took the pics away from this thread.

Have a working Meteor project machine. The game plays and works right minus the 110vdc. None of the scores work. There is some corrosion on the mpu and the rectifier board. I haven't pulled the boards so don't know the extent of the corrosion. The pf has some wear to the wood and the back glass is ok. May be open to a trade for a Bally Lost world or something else. Asking 750 as it sits. It will obviously also need a detailed shop job.

Looking for some help getting a pinball to Long Beach port area. Biggest hurdle is it has to be delivered during normal business hours...what ever the crap that means (Mon-Fri 8-5, I think). The Pin is in the valley and might possibly be delivered to you if you are able to deliver. Pin is wrapped up and ready to go...head down, legs off, not strapped to a pallet. If you are interested please let me know. Thanx in advance
