Hi guys.
Just trying to test the waters here. I'm hoping you will give me some good info. I've started shopping out a really nice Williams IJ. Im debating on continuing to fix it up and keep it for a while or just sell it now. I really don't have the room for this in my gameroom. I'm curious as to what you guys think is a fair asking price.

Now that I've stripped and cleaned it up, the playfield is absolutely fantastic. No lifting, cracking, etc. It's really great! I'm honestly amazed at how nice the playfield looks. All optos, switches, and coils are working. Dmd is great. Speakers/audio also great. I just installed all new rubbers. It shines! I've got flipper rebuild kits ready to go in. Wire ramps are perfect. Plastics are great (except slingshots).

Negatives.. Some moderate fading on cabinet sides. 2 chips are present on the back of the cab. Another small one is present on the top left side corner of the head. Holes are present from a lockdown bar. Slingshot plastics and all drop target decals need to be replaced. Some lamps need replacing. (I'm debating on putting in an LED kit).

This machine is not collector's quality and I know this. I know I could spend $300 on new cabinet decals which would greatly improve the look. Slingshot plastics and drop target decals aren't expensive. Lamps aren't expensive either.

I'm in nor cal. What do you think it's worth as I've described? Is anyone interested?

I agree with you. I think it's a very fun playing pin. I've enjoyed putting some games on one myself. However I just don't like Aerosmith. And I personally don't know a lot of people that like Aerosmith.

This is funny to me. All I did was drop my asking price and say that I was surprised it hadn't sold yet. And this caused 11 new comments. All because my asking price seems high to some of you. You guys are absolutely entitled to your opinions. Maybe you're right...
In my opinion an IJ that works perfectly with a great playfield has high value. Including new decals which are REALLY difficult to find adds more value too. Is it worth as much as a new Stern? Maybe. Some would say yes.

Pinball machines cost more now than they did in the 90s. That's just a fact. We may not like it but it's still a fact. Some of the most popular used classics are still going to cost more than less popular used games.

Analogy for you.. in the late 90s I bought a brand new Sanger wakeboard boat for $25k. Now many new wakeboard boats cost upwards of $100k and many used boats are over 50k. Crazy but true. It's tough to find an expensive hobby that has maintained the same cost over 20 years...

No disrespect intended here guys. I hope to play some games and have a drink with you guys in Lodi this month. Should be a great event.

First of all, bicyclenut's opinion on this game is not total BS. He is entitled to his opinion. So are you. And so am I.
IMO GB is a blast to play. Yes it's difficult and challenging, and sometimes it did make me want to punch the glass, but it IS fun. And beginners ARE going to have a hard time with it.
I sold my Premium and wish I hadn't.

I do agree with some of the things you said. It does have some design flaws. They are very addressable though as gunstarhero said. And the magnaslings are designed to be an awesome pain in the ass. They are supposed to be random and catch and fling the ball. "Ghosts" are messing with your ball. I love it

I may be the antichrist here for saying something... I thought this thread was created for people in California who want to buy and sell games and parts. People post on here when they're looking for something or when they are selling something.
But now this thread has become a social conversation thread about many different topics that have nothing to do with buying, selling, or wanting pinball.
Am I the only one who feels this way?

I'm debating on selling my Deadpool Premium. Testing the waters. Ask anyone who knows me, or has bought a game from me. My games are 100% perfect. I have pinball OCD.

Official Stern topper, Insider connected, art blades, shaker, Stern headphone jack plate, type 12 rgb speaker lights, custom katana handle, lit hellhouse, custom die cast led chimichanga truck, throwing star pop bumper covers. I'm sure I'm forgetting things.
