I have a Getaway HS2 that the wife wants moved out (I'm hoping to keep it--but at least I can show I'm trying...). Not CQ but a nice player with some cool mods--PM if interested.

#52 5 years ago
Quoted from bellbrand:

Where is aquanga?

Well... sort of north and west of Ranchita, and south and east of Venice Beach...

#54 5 years ago

I don't know, but if you did my wife would like you to buy it back...

#59 5 years ago

I don't want to clog up the OP's thread, send me a PM with your email and I'll snap a few send them off.

#61 5 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

I don't know about the rest of you, but this is just too nice a day to be land locked. Fall was always my favorite time of year when I lived at the beach. Crowds have gone away, kids are in school, and it's just me and my buddies, a decent swell, and a perfect off shore breeze...

Only 2-3 and poor form down here--waiting for the swell to pick up...

#182 5 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

I read it as a legit ad. I figured there was a mistake. The part about only takes quarters was a dead giveaway.
Meanwhile... Rome wasn't built in a day...

Nice game, but it needed a few more likenesses of Clint on the playfield...

#185 5 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

Well, here ya go then!
» YouTube video

Great band, but dudes who look like they've been on a liquid diet for two months (and even Hans and Franz couldn't help them out) ought to keep a shirt on...

#187 5 years ago
Quoted from mof:

No way bro, every musician in the 70's was skinny as a rail while kicking a$$ on stage...

Yup, you are right, most those guys were small and rail thin. If it doesn't come naturally, the dope will certainly do that to ya...

BTW, the San Francisco Sound of the late 60's is still my favorite music--unreal musicianship and song crafting by the Bay Area bands back then.

#279 5 years ago

Is it just me or does anyone else get dizzy looking at photos that are not oriented correctly...

But Rick is going to build you one any day now!

Great news--please post photos soon!

Quoted from Nintendoguy1982:

is this a CA sellers page or a private chat? just curious.

It's all about the music in So Cal, bro! Rock on!

#1386 4 years ago
Quoted from Aurich:

I have to side with the No Fun Police™, this is a really useful thread, that's stayed on topic and helped a lot of people, and I'd personally prefer it didn't get swamped with useless band posts.

You must be thinking of the "What's for Sale in Nor Cal" thread (Bay Area excepted! ). This is So Cal, bro--let's Pinball & Rock!!

Nice set of original B/W chrome legs and levelers for sale. $40 picked up. Shipping is OK, but is gonna be expensive.

#1736 4 years ago
Quoted from Nexyss:

lol, I was offered a Mazda RX8 for my AC/DC, and I wasn't even looking for trades.

That is a lot better deal than the Skoda I was offered for my Hard Body...

#1739 4 years ago

I think it was this one.

Could we get past all this and get back on track, perhaps? This by in large has been a very cool thread.

Can I be an honorary member ? I'm originally from CA.
Love how much activity you guys got going on!

Isn't it a state law that you have to be from CA to live in AZ (and always come back for the summer)?

Quoted from Slingshot:

Trying to achieve my dream pin a TOM. Wifey says I have to let one go so it will be my TFTC. Please PM if interested. Thanks!

Be careful, I went the opposite direction as I quickly grew tired of ToM and traded it for a nice TFTC. Never regretted it.

Looking for a nice Baywatch or Godzilla.

#3380 3 years ago

Noticed all that CL spam today as well--bummer.

On another topic--looking for a nice RBION or a Dirty Harry in So Cal or AZ.

#3390 3 years ago

Well, on the plus side no one will be buying these pins to flip...

This is my ride, needs a good polish and wax, maybe some new tires. I love it !

Might just need a fuse...

Sent you a PM, I'm looking for one.

#3563 3 years ago

Glad we got that all resolved, now back to Cali pinball...

#3586 3 years ago

Had a great time at O-din's place today. After seeing his great collection of EM's (and playing a few--most of which kicked my a$$), I can now understand why he is captivated by these old games--they are so cool! I'll never pass by a wood rail or EM at a pinball show again without checking it out. Rock on, bro!

#3650 3 years ago

I wondered if you had a Wiggler--hope you score one so I can see it!

#3699 3 years ago
Quoted from TheOnlyest:

Its been awfully quiet around here lately, and it seems like its been a while since iv'e been lambasted for expressing my opinion about ludicrously overpriced machines... have a field day with this!! https://pinside.com/pinball/market/ad/35017

Well...that actually seems quite reasonable

#3781 3 years ago

Time to move on, perhaps...

Nice looking Diner!

Quoted from o-din:

Flash is off the chopping block. Sorry. I'm having too much fun playing it. Maybe another day. Thanks for all the lack of interest.

Figured it would be the same as with DH or RBION--you'd either buy it back or get another one--just saved you the trouble...

#4738 3 years ago

SK-33--didn't you used to have a DH sample? I was bummed I missed out on that one (if I'm recalling correctly). DH is a cool pin--hope you find a nice one!

Don't know much about Avenger's, but I know Troz--if it has his stamp of approval, must be good.

#5503 2 years ago
Quoted from NimblePin:

Sure sure Troz is good people but does that make it an extra $2000 "good?"
(I'm a buyer at $5200 cash though if you are REALLY ready to part with it Jason. Seriously...
I can be there faster than an 80's Domino's Pizza delivery guy hopped up on Jolt. )

I made no reference nor gave my opinion on price--that issue will take care of itself.

1 month later
#5603 2 years ago

Troz is good dude and his games are in super shape, I'd do a deal with him anytime.

#5606 2 years ago
Quoted from Troz:

How's that Tron holding up? You know I still get grief from two of my friends for not selling it to them, LOL!

Well, I guess I got lucky, then. You ever get down my way make sure and LMK so we can get together and play it.

Anyone know the lineup at coin op in San Diego .
Looks like I'll be there tonight, any pinsiders

Bring a sweater, you are gonna freeze after being in that mid-90 heat! (I just got back from T-Town). Can't help with your question, but wanted to say hi in case no one responds.

#6677 1 year ago
Quoted from kpg:

Considering the last time you wanted to buy a pin of mine, and we're essentially the biggest low baller I've ever tried to deal with - I wouldn't even sell it to you if you offered me more than asking.

I felt that dart way out here in Aguanga!
