Well, if you wanted to do that, I'd definitely be grateful. If it doesn't feel safe, don't do it. But I've gotten good deals like that on the past, and it's usually just someone who has a machine stashed somewhere and needs money.

I purchased the game. Jason is a cool guy. I have bought machines from him and he has bought machines from me. Definitely not sketchy. However the machine needs to be completely sanded down and decals applied because the paint has flaked off it completely on the head and most of the body. It’s going to be a lot of work but that’s what I do.

That’s great. Glad for both parties. Was more than I am capable to do with a pin. That’s perfect someone is going to bring it back to life.

I gotta CPR Gold Space Shuttle playfield up for sale. It's from the first run I think. I was gonna do a restore on my Shuttle, but mine ain't that bad and the machine I really want to restore is my Cyclone, and CPR now has Cyclone playfields back in stock, so a choice had to be made.
Can deliver to PAGG next week, or with a little "greasing of the wheel," CAX the week after. I don't really do shipping.

Lines on a map are made up, all I know is I love all the friends I have here, and being able to drive to pick up lunch at my favorite gluten free cafe (I'm a celiac, it's not a trend, it's my life) with my wife and then go a few minutes further to eat looking out over the ocean.
I could afford a much nicer, bigger house in some other state. But this is where I want to live.
I've shipped a couple games in, couple games out, but by and large my sales were all here local. Everyone who bought from me got a fair deal, probably a little below the real market squeeze because I'm not hard nosed about that stuff. What goes around comes around.
Pandemic a weird time, for sure, but in better days a lot of you knew me in person. I post under my real name, I'm a friendly person to hang out with, I like being part of a community.
I'm a capitalist, and I'm not ashamed of selling my mods at a profit. I put a lot of work into them, and I think they're worth it, and a lot of people seem to agree. I don't hate money! But you know, the more expensive things are the greedier people seem to get. And it's not really much fun to be around.
Without community the hobby holds less interest for me personally I've found. Why I own more candy cabs than pins these days, my fighting game friends are a stronger community for me. I'd post a pic of my garage arcade setup for fun, but oops, this site is worried about money too, so no photos in the California thread!

I don't think its just Pinside. It's life. Sure, I quickly glance at all those posts here about CA sucks or whatever it may be, but I am trained now like I said to just go "yeah, whatever" and move on. But, that's pretty much how I live my life overall with everything outside of pinball. I don't know if its the pandemic or what, but so many people seem to have gone so completely nuts about everything that you can hardly have a conversation with anyone anymore. When the nonsense starts, my eyes start to glaze over and my mind just blanks it out, and I move on to other things. It's just not worth one iota of my time to bother arguing about it with someone.

I live in the same state that you do, and I personally think that we do live in a dumpster state (in many regards).

Not coming to PAGG and not really looking to sell. It would be too expensive anyway lol. Cleared playfield, new decals, powder coated black gloss armor, powder blue wire form, etc. She's real nice! But if I sell it, I'll be missing that flavor in my lineup.

Gay 90’s Price + Interest check.
I Got a friend in So Cal (Upland) that wants to sell his Gay 90s. It’s probably 7/10 condition but don’t know much about EM’s to compare it to. He got the machine about 3 years ago, inherited when he bought the house it was in. I helped him getting it cleaned and working 100% at the time; which really didn’t take too much effort to get it going. Only issue with it now, which started recently, is the 10’s digit doesn’t reset to 0.
Anyway, let me know what you guys might think a fair price to sell and if you know anyone interested. Thanks.
