It works, has all new boards and displays... And I really don't have the room for it and it needs to be gone.

Being priced so high one would figure he has some wiggle room, but damn. I guess he finds a sucker or two a few times a year to pay him full price.

I was looking at the pics and was thinking why does the sides look so green? well, its all the sun fade, the red is gone.
I would never sell mine, I got 2 of them from tilt way back in the day. One just had a new ramp put in it(I also got the the populated old ramp). I kept the best of the 2 and sold the other maybe a decade ago for $2200. Good to know that the going rate for a nice one is about $9k. I bought the glow in the dark kit from PP a few years ago when they had an open house.

I sold my huo 1 owner TSPP for $3300. Of course that was more than 15 years ago. I paid $3700 for it NIB, shipping included a couple years beforehand. Curious when you sold it. Pinball is like the housing market, the last year or so has seen crazy price increases.

I’d be very interested in seeing how many of those machines actually leave between the shilling bids and the folks who realize they’ve bid double the value for the machine and decline to pony up the cash.
On another note, I need to get a machine from Ventura to Seattle area. If anyone is heading that way from Banning, let me know. Maybe I can help you pay down those 200% prices plus the 18% auction fees.

I dont think you understand the concept of shill bidding. When something is selling for 200-400% of normal, driving it up further is not a good plan to make money. If you mess up the sale, all that profit is gone and your not likely ever to get that much again. PLus your hit with buyback and relisting fees.
I would bet there was 0 shill bidding in this auction. the first two days was 2x-4x+ normal. day 3 looked more normal with a few exceptions.
